How you'll contribute
* Assists the administration staff in overseeing and assisting all staff in all functions to ensure the provision of quality general and psychiatric care to patients suffering from substance abuse or psychiatric disorders.
* Oversee the day to day activities of staff in all CCD and nursing area and assists the department managers with scheduling, education and discipline of staff when needed.
* Involved in direct patient care, education and training, and participation in departmental and hospitals meetings as assigned.
* Reviews documentation and works with staff to ensure that documentation is timely, accurate and complete.
* The House Supervisor may also serve as a working RN and routinely personally executes nursing care duties to ensure quality patient care and proper execution and documentation of the treatment plan.
What we're looking for
* Education: Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing required.
* Experience: Previous experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience working with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric and geriatric patients preferred. Experience in patient assessments, family motivations, treatment planning and communication with external review organizations or comparable entities.
* License: Current unencumbered license to practice by the State Board of Nursing, valid driver's license preferred.
* Additional Requirements: BLS certification and de-escalation training within 30 days. Must be at least 21 years of age. May be required to work flexible hours and overtime.
