Part-time Description
Shee Atika Inc is looking for a new Janitor to assist on a part time basis. The selected candidate will be responsible for performing all janitorial and minimal maintenance needs within the Shee Atiká properties.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
Serves as a representative of Shee Atiká, displaying courtesy, tact, consideration, and discretion in all interactions with other members of the Shee Atiká community and with the public.
Sealing Cove Business Center/Includes one contracted tenant space:
Five days per week- Empty trash and wall mounted disposal bags and replace bags. Sweep entrances, lobbies, and corridors. Spot sweep floors, and spot vacuum carpets. Clean drinking fountains. Sweep and damp mop or scrub restrooms. Clean all restroom fixtures and replenish restroom supplies. Dispose of all trash and garbage generated in or about the building.
Three days per week- Clean the entryway glass doors, frames, and side glasses. Vacuum hallway corridor and entryways (use spot cleaner, as needed).
Twice per week- Wash corridor hallway walls and doorframes.
Once per week, or more frequently if needed-clean parking lot and perimeter of building of all trash. Damp mop all resilient floors in restrooms.
Every two weeks- Damp mop floors in office space.
Twice yearly- wash exterior main floor windows around perimeter of building. Clean all exterior trash receptacles located around perimeter.
Every two years- Shampoo carpets in office and other non-public areas.
Keep all cleaning supplies and materials stocked as needed: toilet paper, paper towels, soap, window cleaner, floor cleaner, urinal disinfectant blocks, carpet spot remover, trash bags, Kleenex, toilet seat covers, sanitary waste bags, and vacuum cleaner bags.
Lincoln St. Building:
Five days per week- Clean the entryway glass doors, frames, and side glasses. Clean drinking fountains, vacuum hallway corridors and entryways (use spot cleaner, as needed). Dust wall trim.
Duties include vacuum hallway corridors and entryways (use spot cleaner, as needed).
Twice per week, or more frequently if needed, vacuum the east and southwest stairwells, including both third floor landings.
Once per week, or more frequently if needed-clean parking lot and perimeter of building of all trash.
Monthly- wash exterior main floor windows around perimeter of building. Clean all exterior trash receptacles located around perimeter.
Keep all cleaning supplies and materials stocked as needed: toilet paper, paper towels, soap, window cleaner, floor cleaner, urinal disinfectant blocks, carpet spot remover, trash bags, Kleenex, toilet seat covers, sanitary waste bags, and vacuum cleaner bags.
This position must operate the company vehicles safely and efficiently. Inspect exterior and interior of company vehicle for properly operating headlights, turn signals, brake lights, interior courtesy lamps, air-conditioning or heating, warning lamps, mirror adjustments, properly inflated tires, windshield wipers, vehicle damage, etc.
Responsible for ensuring that the inside and outside of vehicle is properly cleaned and fueled on an ongoing basis.
Maintenance duties-change lightbulbs, unclog toilets, replace ceiling tiles, and de-ice walkways as needed.
Collect and deliver recycling from Lincoln Street building.
Other duties as assigned.

Primary Purpose of Job
The primary purpose of this position is to enforce federal, state, and local laws within the department's jurisdiction regarding public safety and to perform general and specialized law enforcement duties which preserve public peace and protect lives, property, and the rights of the public.

Minimum Qualifications
All Police Officer positions must meet the following requirements:
* Be at least 21 years of age
* United States citizen at time of appointment; and
* High School diploma or GED, Associate's Degree or higher in Criminal Justice or a related field, preferred
In addition to the minimum qualifications listed above, the following minimum qualifications are required for hire or promotion.
Police Officer Recruit
* Some work experience dealing with people customer service, group setting, or with the military, and
* Possession of, or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire, First Aid and CPR certification; and
* Ability to attend the Police Academy and obtain a Basic Police Officer Certificate from Alaska Police Standards Council ("APSC") within 12-months of hire; and
* Satisfactory completion of the Field Training Program within 12-months of hire

The essential duties of the
Front-End Clerk I
consist of, but are not limited to, the following responsibilities:
Maintain punctual and regular attendance.
Arrive at work on time and leave per scheduled time unless otherwise directed.
Work overtime as assigned.
Dress and groom according to Company policy, including uniform, name badge and hat or apron requirements.
Perform all duties in accordance with Company rules, policies, safety requirements, and security standards, and all Local, State and Federal health and civil code regulations.
Provide the best customer service possible.
Do not chew gum or play on mobile communication devices (MCDs) while in the check lanes.
Greet all Customers that are within 10 feet of you, and provide them with prompt, courteous service and assistance.
Be attentive to the customer. This includes looking the person in the eyes and listening to their needs, so as to accommodate them.
Be consistent with the three (3) deep rule; and when you have two or more in line, call for backup assistance.
When you are checking the Customer. Ask the Customer, "Is that everything for you today Mrs. Jones?" This is to seek further needs of the customer.
Making it understood with all the employees that come in contact with customers, that THE CUSTOMER IS THE FIRST PRIORITY; that the store is in the forefront of that activity; and that every member of the team id here to fully support that priority with prompt and friendly service.
Stand at register station for duration of scheduled shift, which may exceed 8 hours per day.
Understand operation of cash register and follow all cash handling procedures.
Be knowledgeable in and able to recognize or differentiate between all of the various types of produce carried in the store including differences between varieties of similar cases of products.
Regularly lift, pull, push and rotate merchandise that weights 25 lbs. and that occasionally weights up to 50 lbs.
Check prices, and be knowledgeable about location of items in store.
Accurately identify and scan product under correct department (when necessary).
Efficiently process each customer grocery order. Error free and resulting in a happy and satisfied customer.
Promote for sale any current charitable promotions to Customers.
Process all forms of payments (i.e., cash, credit, checks, EBT, WIC, Rain checks, coupons, vouchers, gift cards, etc) in accordance with Company guidelines.
Accurately and quickly collect proper payment and provide proper change.
When handling change make sure it's properly counted back to the customer and placed in the customer's hand.
Handle damaged or return-to-stock products according to Company policy, with priority attention given to refrigerated, perishable items, and sell by date.
Process refunds as applicable.
Properly bag customer's orders safely and efficiently.
When necessary, properly bag and separate customer's goods (dry, frozen, cool).
Understand and adhere to Company shrink guidelines as relates to Front-End operations.
Maintain the UPC log for any mis-scanned or mis-priced items.
Remains alert at all times for suspicious customers.
Comply with safety policies and procedures.
Utilize and maintain equipment as required by department; report any equipment problems immediately.
Maintain a clean, neat, organized and safe work environment.
Perform cleaning duties in accordance with the Company policy and adhere to manufacturer's label instructions for the safe and proper use of all chemical products.
Keep floor(s) clear of debris and spills.
Keep check stand area clean at all times and free of clutter, this includes, but not limited to coffee cups, go backs, receipts, hand baskets, carts, grocery items, or any other items that do not belong there.
When requested, maintain the cleanliness and stocking of the hospitality table.
Attend meetings when scheduled, with other team members to keep informed on those matters which affect the successful performance of the job, the status of the store, and the company as a whole.
Assist in the mentoring of new cashiers as directed by the Front-End Shift Supervisor. This will include training in the proper performance of their jobs, in company rules, regulations and policies, and in job safety.
Keep your behavior in a professional manner.
Complete work in a prompt, ethical and prudent manner.
Complete all applicable department training programs.
Work cooperatively with others.
Stay productive during idle times, and stock the check lanes when required.
Refrain from visiting with friends/family while working.

Set-up and complete prep work of the entire meat department.

Take stock of storage and shelf areas.
Make sure refrigerated cases and display shelves are properly stocked and always faced according to product movement and department standards to ensure maximum sales, quality and freshness.
Keep all meat ingredients or merchandise rotated in accordance with store policy and product code dates and always make use of the oldest product first (first in, first out).
Ensure that all ready-to-cook meats are prepared within the proper recipe guidelines and in an appealing and appetizing manner.
Wrap, weigh, and price all meats and related products processed in the department.
Safeguard the food inventory to reduce spoilage and pilferage.
Is familiar with invoice documents and confirm accuracy of item descriptions, size, quantities, and pricing during vendor product deliveries.
When directed, inspect incoming merchandise for packaging, cleanliness, correct product identification, freshness and condition, rejecting any item from the delivery that does not meet the standards and requirements of the store (this may include transfers from other store locations).
Accurately record markups and markdowns, in-store use of merchandise and bad merchandise/spoilage write-offs in accordance with company policies.
Follow approved procedures for receiving and code dating products to ensure quality protection, accuracy, and product rotation.
Be aware of competitor pricing and advertising and let the manager know if this would affect the department sales.
Ensure meat cutting preparation is done with a minimal amount of waste.
Order wrapping supplies for the department when directed (trays, shrink wrap film, labels, etc.)
Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of all equipment to ensure safe, clean, and sanitary operating conditions.
Be familiar with and use industry formulas to perform cutting tests and yields.
When assigned, routinely check refrigeration equipment for proper performance.
Make sure meat cuts are properly wrapped, prices and attractively presented, and restocking cases to ensure quality protection, accuracy, and product rotation.
Assist other meat staff in the performance of their duties so that they will be familiar with and able to handle all jobs and positions within the meat area.
During any slow periods, to stay productive, performing other duties as assigned.
To exhibit an attitude and approach to "get the job done no matter what it takes."
Under the direction of the Meat Manager, mark down nearly dated products daily to promote sales of unsold goods and maintain the store' image for the highest quality for freshly baked products.
To control excessive use of utilities and water and observe sound conservation practices.
To use all equipment, tools and utensils in a safe manner and comply with safety policies and procedures.
Assist in the maintenance and safe and reliable condition of all equipment in the department.

* Build and establish healthy, caring relationships with each student.
* Supervise students for purposes of health and safety, including implementation of the school's Code of Conduct, health and safety rule, and student participation in maintaining a clean, healthy physical environment.

* Swing shift RA's must plan and carry out at least one recreational activity each week that involves at least five students.
* Shall assist in the solving of problems or issues that occur in the students' daily responsibilities, with active collaboration from staff.
* Operate within a technologically rich working environment and must use school-provided technology to communicate.
* Shall sort, post and distribute mail lists and mail.
* Must provide for the care of students who are in a dorm room due to illness or injury when not in sick bay. Although uncommon, additional staffing may be required in this instance.
* Contractor will be responsible for transporting students to the ER as needed between 1:00am and 8:00am. Contractor will ensure child is checked in with medical staff before leaving.
