Inspection Sitter / Permit Runner (30-40hrs/week) – ORBIT ENTERY & POWER

Job Overview:

Orbit Energy & Power has an immediate need for an Inspection Sitter/Permit Runner. We are looking for someone to help meet inspectors at our clients home to represent our company as well as delivering permits to the job site. In this position you can learn the solar business and grow into the limitless opportunities available here at Orbit Energy & Power.

Job Duties:

• Drive to assigned client and meet inspector while he/she completes the inspection process
• Bring back all paperwork from the inspector to the office
• Driving to various locations to pick up permits and legal documents for our permitting team.
• Effectively manage your schedule to complete several time sensitive tasks on a daily basis.
• Organize routes, drop plans on site, occasionally place labels if needed.
• Communicate with Orbit Team on a daily basis.
• Work closely with permitting coordinator and permitting department.

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Excellent communication skills
• Construction related background is a plus
• Effective time management skills
• Seeking a responsible driver to deliver legal documents for our solar company.
• Punctuality, Reliability and good communication skills are a must
• Must be trustworthy, accountable and follows directions well.

A Patient Safety Monitor is a caregiver who provides patients in need of supervision with companionship and care. Patient Safety Monitors provide a compassionate substitute for restraints, seclusion rooms and other measures to deal with challenging patients.

Under the supervision of clinical staff, patient sitters position themselves in their assigned patient's room to maintain constant visual observation of the patient If the patient has any worries or concerns about how they're feeling, or if their symptoms are worsening, patient sitters listen to these problems and relay them to the appropriate nurse so that further action can be taken if necessary. The role provides care in a manner that soothes patients, observes for changes in their condition, and summons nursing staff where necessary. It is important that patient sitters desist from performing unauthorized duties.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:


1. Observes 1:1 patient watches for any behavior that could indicate potential problems for patient or staff.

a. Remains alert at all times while on duty, ensuring supervision of patient at all times.
b. Observes room for safe environment for behavioral health patients, visitors & staff.
c. Monitors overall safety of patient.
d. Immediately reports any changes in patient behavior to clinical staff / RN in charge of the Patient.
e. Provides patients with emotional support.
f. Alerts nursing staff when patients need help.

2. Management of Information

a. Handles sensitive, private information with a high level of discretion, maintaining confidentiality of patient information.
b. Make immediate decisions, in emergent response situations, while maintaining composure.
c. Maintains routine patient watch logs.
d. Communicates effectively at various social levels.

Qualifications

Experience Minimum Required

3+ mos in a customer service related position with proven, effective communication skills at various social levels


Education Minimum Required

HS Diploma or equivalent


Special Skills Minimum Required


Outstanding communication, listening and observation skills. Ability to work well together with others. Professional appearance and proficient personal hygiene. Calm, confident manner. Undeterred by distressed or combative patients. Ability to make immediate decisions, while maintaining composure, in emergency response situations

General Position Summary: The Nursery Coordinator provides the planning, Coordination and implementation of our nursery for young people from 1-4 years of age. SMC nursery is a Catholic Centered childcare, provided for parishioners that are attending Mass or other parish sponsored activities on our campus. Recruitment, training, scheduling and support of our team of adult volunteers is a crucial part of this ministry.

Principal Accountabilities:

• Implement a systematic comprehensive plan for the nursery
• Recruit, train, schedule and support a team of adult group leaders
• Implement a systematic comprehensive plan for caring for the young people nursery is charged with caring for
• Responsible for all other projects, tasks, etc., as assigned.

Typical Decisions and/or Recommendations Made in This Position:

• Accountability for training and preparing babysitters.
• Accountability for scheduling babysitters to meet needs of parish

Supervision Given and/or Received:

• Reports directly to Chief of Staff

Internal Contacts:

• Effectively communicate with the staff

• Effectively communicate with parents, volunteers, adults as well as other church employees

Working Conditions and/or Physical Requirements:

• This position works in a typical office environment, but is subject to stress due to the evolving and quickly expanding business needs, tight deadlines and heavy workloads. Working some evenings and weekends required.

Education and Experience Preferred:

• 1-3 years of experience caring for the very young
