The CNC Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring CNC machinery to produce precision parts that meet strict quality standards. This role ensures compliance with all safety protocols, ISO requirements, and quality control procedures while maintaining a clean and organized work environment. The operator will play a key role in delivering high-quality components on time, supporting production efficiency, and minimizing downtime through proactive machine operation and basic troubleshooting. Schedule: Monday - Thursday 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM, OT on Fridays Start: 12/08/2026 As a CNC Machine Operator, your daily responsibilities will include: Accurately read and interpret calipers and other precision measuring tools to ensure parts meet exact specifications. Review and understand CNC prints, including dimensions down to .000, to maintain strict tolerances. Complete all required documentation, such as quality forms and daily inspection reports, with attention to detail and accuracy. Utilize a variety of hand tools and shop equipment, including air guns, wrenches, and drill presses, to support machine operation and minor adjustments. Monitor machine performance throughout the shift, making necessary adjustments to maintain efficiency and product quality. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve issues quickly and maintain a smooth workflow.

Ensure inventory control and purchase processes are in place and operating properly. Help resolve customer and team issues. Perform special projects as assigned. Evaluate job performance of subordinates (Tool & Die Maintenance associates) and identify improvement & potential promotional opportunities. Mentor team members and maintain order and discipline among associates. Follow company directives. Perform other duties as required and assigned.

Supervise and ensure training for Administrators and ASMs as needed. Ensure Associate Relations responsibilities are carried out (timekeeping, disciplinary action, section meetings, etc.). Ensure proper department workload balancing. Oversee overall supply chain and forecasting/releasing methods and accuracy with suppliers. Oversee all inventory control activities (cycle counting, physical inventories, month-end inventory levels, troubleshooting variances, etc.). Manage overall company QAD activity (system processes, auto ordering, etc.). Ensure overall supplier delivery performance. Enforce PPC data maintenance of the Design Change Database. Ensure timely support for new model launches and build-out activities.
