Essential Job Functions
Provide a positive guest service experience while safely loading and unloading lifts Maintain the safe and continuous operation of the lifts for extended periods of time Maintain load and unload ramps in areas around lift stations in various weather conditions including shoveling and/or raking snow Organize the maze to provide orderly and friendly access to the lift; help to manage guests for efficient loading Scan and check tickets at specific locations Perform daily pre-operation inspections and post-operation shutdown procedures at return Remain alert and attentive at all times to assist guests and monitor lift operation Maintain proper communication at all times, including updating lift logs, using lift telephones/radios and communicate with others when necessary about incidents and safety Other duties as assigned

Supervision Received: Works under direct supervision of Lift Operations Manager. Tasks are assigned according to specific procedures, and work is checked frequently. Instruction, advice and assistance are readily available.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
Ability to reach, crouch, kneel, stand, bend or be on your feet for extended periods of time
Regularly work in wet, cold, hot conditions requiring the use of protective apparel/equipment to prevent exposure to the elements and may be required to walk on slippery and uneven surfaces
Must be able to frequently lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs individually or with assistance

The Responsibilities:
Assist with day to day operations of boot room.
Assist guest with rental equipment.
Assist with equipment repairs when needed.
Help keep rental room clean and organized.
Ensure safety of guests while at the ski hill.
Perform other duties as assigned.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Checking guests for proper ticketing, assisting guests on and off the lifts by providing verbal assistance and/or catching and guiding the chairs, providing information, checking guests for proper safety equipment, and answering any questions that the guests may have. Always performing tasks with a positive, upbeat and friendly manner to guests or other staff that may be using lifts or tubing.

Testing of all required safety switches before operation to the public

Assisting in daily checks of carriers, grips, and other mechanical components

Knowing proper operation of controls on assigned lift(s) and be able to start, stop, and adjust speed on such lifts as conveyor lifts, cable tows, magic carpet, surface lifts, fixed grip and detachable aerial lifts

Documenting of all required actions on the daily lift logs

Monitoring and listening to all operating machinery

Reporting anything unusual to supervisor of lift mechanics

Monitoring of weather conditions and reporting severe wind, thunder, or other unusual weather conditions to supervisor or mechanics

Assisting lift maintenance staff when needed

Collecting litter and trash after a major thaw thus enhancing the appearance of the entire Resort

Accomplishing related results as needed
