Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Facilitator to join our dynamic team in Indianapolis, United States. As a Facilitator, you will play a crucial role in guiding group discussions, workshops, and training sessions to achieve desired outcomes and foster collaborative learning environments.
Design and implement effective facilitation strategies for various group sizes and purposes
Lead engaging workshops, training sessions, and meetings to promote learning and collaboration
Guide participants through problem-solving and decision-making processes
Encourage active participation and ensure all voices are heard during group discussions
Manage group dynamics and resolve conflicts in a professional manner
Create a supportive and inclusive environment for all participants
Develop and adapt facilitation materials and activities to meet specific group needs
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand objectives and tailor facilitation approaches accordingly
Provide post-session feedback and recommendations for continuous improvement
Stay updated on the latest facilitation techniques and adult learning methodologies
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Education, Business, Psychology, or a related field
Proven experience as a facilitator, trainer, or group leader in corporate or educational settings
Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly
Excellent active listening skills and the ability to read group dynamics
Proficiency in various facilitation techniques and learning methodologies
Demonstrated conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities
Strong time management and organizational skills
Experience in creating and delivering engaging presentations
Knowledge of adult learning principles and organizational development concepts
Ability to adapt facilitation style to diverse groups and learning objectives
Proficiency in using relevant software tools for virtual facilitation (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams)
Facilitation or training certifications (e.g., IAF Certified™ Professional Facilitator, ATD Master Trainer) preferred
Willingness to travel locally as needed for on-site facilitation
