Pros of working at Skills of Central PA

I like the people I support and helping them, but skills as an organization needs a lot of improvement, and would do better taking care of staff

Cons of working at Skills of Central PA

Management support and workplace culture-often hear disparaging language used about clients behind their backs, lack of work/life balance, and pay does not allow for a decent standard of living, often needing to work a second job to pay bills

    Skills of Central PA is a non-profit human services organization that provides support for people living with intellectual and developmental disabilities and those recovering from mental health challenges. Skills offers a wide variety of programs, including: residential group homes, day programs, employment services, vocational training, lifesharing support, respite services, behavioral support, site-based and mobile psychiatric rehabilitation programs, peer support programs, and a network of mental health drop-in centers.
