Installation of various vehicle interior/exterior parts according to specifications and using hand tools, power tools, and production fixtures. Duties and Responsibilities: * Installation of all nonelectrical interior/exterior components and hardware. * Bolts, screws, clips, or otherwise fastens together parts to form subassemblies, such as doors, seats, instrument control panels, steering columns, and axle units. * Seals joints and seams, using caulking gun. * Fastens seats, door paneling, headliners, carpeting, molding, and other trim into position. * Assembles fabricated parts, components, or units at floor stations. * Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements. * Uses hand tools and power tools to assemble units according to product specifications. Requirements (education, experience, travel, physical, work environment): * Ability to read and use linear and other measuring devices. * Ability to perform all operations within acceptable quality and time standards. * Fundamental use of various pneumatic and power tools such as: to drills, screw gun. * Must have general knowledge of OSHA and EPA standards. * Function with a minimal amount of supervision or no supervision. * Set work priorities to meet production goals as scheduled.
