The Specifics of the Role Responsible for the organization and direction of all on-site construction related activities and the primary contact for all project field activities. Ensure construction operations are in compliance with design, specifications, and that construction operations are completed on schedule, within budget and to quality standards. Responsible for site management including management of construction subcontractors, professional staff to include field engineering, contract administration, cost and schedule, field procurement, finance and accounting services, and workforce services. Responsible for managing and maintaining detailed daily reports. Ensures the development and execution of project automation plan, environmental compliance plan, safety plan, site survey plan, non-manual staffing plan, subcontracting plan, labor strategy, construction execution plan, and job-site work rules. Responsible for implementation of Clayco's safety program, security, housekeeping, and fire protection on the construction site and ensures strict adherence Federal and State safety codes. Ensures the field organization is composed of qualified and knowledgeable personnel and ensures effective personnel utilization. Establishes and implements construction schedules, methods, manning charts, material, and equipment requirements. Responsible for field project performance and analyzes performances for adherence to quality standards and schedules. Plans and establishes procedures to ensure all construction operations meet engineering designs and specifications. Ensures Clayco's policies and procedures are fully implemented. Establishes project field procedures to be worked in conjunction with the Clayco's standards, as necessitated by project conditions. Collaborates with the jobsite team to ensure labor harmony throughout the project. Partners with the project management team to maintain effective client relationship and is the primary contact for client's communication with the field activities. Maintains effective relationships with other functional departments. Develops, implements, and administers a job-site security plan and coordinates the activities with Clayco's security department. Works with the project management team to participate in all job-site's contractual activities. Participates in contracts and subcontracts negotiations. Participates in the development and implementation of a training program to ensure subordinate personnel receives progressive training to enable them to assume additional responsibilities and is responsible for overall development of construction training and any testing as required. Works with Clayco's safety team in the development of the project safety program and ensures strict adherence to Company, federal, state, and local safety regulations. Ensures the implementation of an effective community relations plan for the site. Ensures required permits and licenses are in place prior to the start of the affected work at site. Responsible and accountable for construction license reporting to include construction Logbook entries and required notifications for permit closure. Partners with the project management team for the implementation of cost savings methodologies in the Construction organization and the promotion of other continuous improvement processes. Ensures development and execution of strategies and plans for project automation, environmental compliance, safety, site surveying, non-manual staffing, contracting, labor strategy, construction execution, and job-site work rules. Plans and establishes procedures to ensure construction operations meet engineering designs and specifications. Coordinate with the Field Operations Manager for all assignment of Superintendent and Foreman positions. Support Superintendent(s) throughout the duration of the job. Review project schedules with Superintendents/Foreman. Document project field issues that impact budget, quality, or schedule, and provide to the project management team. Ensure subcontractor requests for field issues that impact budget, quality, or schedule are documented and are forwarded to the project management team. Follow guidelines of the Project Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) program written for the job site. Requirements Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, related technical degree or relevant work experience in lieu of education. 20-25 years of relevant experience, with progressive responsibility and technical knowledge both scope and value of project. Technical knowledge and experience of relevant construction methods and systems including: Utility relocates and slope stability works. Full understanding of multiple mission critical platforms. Full understanding and working knowledge of high voltage, medium voltage, and low voltage systems. General understanding of BMS and EPMS Systems. Full understanding and coordination of Utility relocations, underground medium voltage systems, and BIM modeling coordination of ALL utilities both above and below ground. Full understanding and managing of all LOTO procedure's and FOD inspections for all systems. Ability to research and understand local codes and jurisdictional requirements for the project. Knowledge of project-specific environmental compliance requirements. Experience with successful interface management on Data Center/Mission Critical projects. OSHA 30 required. Ability to walk the job site, climb ladders, and multi floor scaffolding. Ability to lift objects at least 50lbs. About the Opportunity: We're looking for a Multi-Site NDT Level III to support our Pursuit Aerospace facilities in New York, Ohio, and Georgia. In this role, you'll serve as the technical authority for all Nondestructive Testing (NDT) and Special Process compliance activities across multiple aerospace and defense manufacturing sites. The Wetlands Scientist & Waters Permitting Specialist will support the Waters Regulatory team by ensuring compliance with wetlands regulations through field delineations, permit application preparation, and documentation review. It involves leading junior staff during fieldwork, managing data using tools like ArcGIS GPS, and coordinating closely with project managers. The position also emphasizes safety, confidentiality, and ongoing professional development. As a key member of the Waters Regulatory team, this role will be responsible for a full range of activities, including: Work as part of a multi-disciplinary wetlands team to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal wetlands regulations. Prepare and review wetlands and biological documentation and manage contract compliance. Conduct wetlands delineations in the field and provide guidance and support as a lead delineator to junior staff members. Enter and review field data from delineations and coordinate effectively with project managers to meet deliverables. Prepare State and federal permit applications Duties may include web-based reporting, and use of ArcGIS GPS equipment for mapping identified wetlands/waters resources. Maintain confidentiality at all times. Exercises safe work practices by following all Company safety rules and OSHA regulations, including attendance at all required safety training programs. Participates in the Company's continuous improvement programs and provides support to team efforts. Keeps up-to-date and current on industry trends by completing formal training, reviewing professional publications, and attending professional workshops. Performs other duties as assigned. YOUR EXPERTISE AND SKILLS To perform this job successfully, individuals must be able to perform each duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. BS/BA degree in natural science field of study. Valid Driver's License and an acceptable driving record per company standards Minimum of 4 years related field experience; 6+ years of consulting experience related to wetland science and permitting preferred. Delineating wetlands per the 1987 Corps of Engineers Wetlands Delineation Manual and applicable Regional Supplements. Familiarity with Army Corps of Engineers Regional Supplements. Specifically, the Arid West Regional Supplement. Conduct field work, including ecological field studies, habitat assessment, and wetland delineations. Support other biological surveys, including vernal pool, breeding bird, and habitat assessments for protected species/species of special concern. Data entry, data review, and GPS use. Coordinate effectively with the geographic information system (GIS) team to develop required mapping for permitting and other environmental documents. Compile and evaluate data to prepare plans, permits, and survey reports for wetlands. Collaborate effectively and efficiently with other team members to execute permit deliverables. Ability and willingness to lead support delineators, and train them on plant identification, soil characterization, and hydrologic indicators. Provide budget and schedule for field delineation requests and coordinate with other team leaders to execute deliverables effectively and in a timely manner. Provide oversight of the implementation of Best Management Practices and provide input on remedial strategies during work activities. Working knowledge of sub-meter accuracy GPS technologies and map interpretation skills (e.g., USGS datasets, aerial and historical imagery). Supporting and ensuring implementation of MEG's Health, Safety, Security, & Environment (HSSE) Policies, Procedures, Standards, and Guidelines in the execution of all work and coordinating with HSSE professionals during the execution of all phases of project planning and implementation. Ability to work in variable field conditions and terrains. Maintain flexibility and willingness to travel and work independently with minimal supervision.
