Summary: The Procedural Care Unit sees an average of 55 cases daily, offering a fast-paced environment. PCU provides care both before and after procedures for Electrophysiology, Interventional Radiology and Cardiovascular labs. Procedures include TAVR's, ablations, biopsies, catheterizations and more. PCU is an outpatient/closed unit, there are no floating requirements. Day shift holiday requirement: Either one working holiday or one on call shift. Weekend: One 12 hour shift every 8 weeks required, either Saturday or Sunday Scheduling: 8 week set/repeating schedule allowing you to know your schedule for a better work life balance. On call: You will be placed on call one weekend from 7a-7p one to two times yearly. ED, ICU, or cardiac/intermediate experience preferred. The RN delegates nursing tasks to licensed practical nurses (LPNs) and unlicensed assistive personnel (UAPs) using the criteria written in the Ohio Nurse Practice Act. According to department policies and nursing care standards, provides professional nursing care services to patients. Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care provided to assigned patients. Responsibilities And Duties: Assessment/Diagnosis - Performs initial, ongoing, and functional health status assessment as applicable to the population and or individual (30%).
