    The Store Manager is responsible for playing a critical role in providing support to merchandising, operational and human resources functions for an individual store to achieve or exceed planned sales and profits. This position requires a proactive and vigilant individual who will remain highly engaged with customers, demonstrate integrity, effective communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic retail setting. The Store Manager will play a critical role in building a positive work culture, driving employee involvement, and supporting change management efforts within the retail organization. DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: • Responsible for recruiting, interviewing, hiring, counseling and termination practices including legal compliance and internal processes. • Maintains financial controls including shrink, payroll and other operating expenses. • Maintaining proper inventory controls, facilitate inventory transactions and maintain compliance standards for shrink control • Monitor sales activities to ensure that customers receive satisfactory service. • Direct and supervise employees engaged in sales, inventory-taking, reconciling cash receipts, or in performing services for customers. • Ensuring adherence of staff members to all Citi Trends, Inc. policies and procedures. • Performs other duties as may be assigned.
