1. Cisco OSPF Breakdown!

udemy
4.7
(253)

This course is several hours long and will cover OSPF at great lengths. I will explain the inner workings of this highly scalable and complexed protocol. DISCLAIMER:   Please note that the simulators/emulators used in this course are not part of the course. It is the students responsibility to have these to practice with. The Cisco Packet Tracer and/or VIRAL (Virtual Internet Routing Lab) are Cisco proprietary software and can only be obtained through Cisco. It is up to each student to obtain the simulator/emulator of their choice to study along with this course. Students will get a thorough understanding of OSPF and how we would implement it in a real world environment. We will discuss the following concepts OSPF terminology; process ID's, LSA, DBD, LDB's and much more. We will be configuring OSPF in a point-to-point and broadcast type of network and understand the differences between them. Analyze the election process of DR and BDR using loopback addresses, priority numbers or putting in the router id manually. Once you get an understanding of how OSPF works and it's configurations we will then go into explaining and creating multiple area OSPF and OSPFV3 and analyze them as well. This is a lecture based course using the Touch-IT Technology Smart board, which will make learning very interactive and engaging. Hands on labs will be used to drill down the concepts learned in each lecture using Cisco's Packet Tracer. My method will make you feel like you are sitting in a classroom environment and give the most needed hands on experience! Handouts will be available to facilitate learning and practice. This course will help the student become familiar with OSPF routing using various methods and how to implement them in your environment…but it will also help in preparing for any networking certification or Computer Science Degree; not to mention the fact that for those already in the field, it will further improve routing decisions in their particular networks...

2. CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure - OSPF

The Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert is known as one of the most grueling, and most respected, networking exams in the world.  Engineers are forced to first pass a 90 question written exam in under 2 hours.  Questions can range from the most detailed configuration feature to analyzing long in-depth debug outputs. If a candidate can successfully clear the written, they are awarded the right to attempt the 8 hour long lab examination.  Focused on Cisco's current CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure blueprint, this video-on-demand (VoD) series provides 33 videos (10+ hours) of lecture and configuration demonstrations.  With the average candidate taking 3 attempts to pass the lab, the goal of this course is to give network engineers an expert-level understanding of the most complex IGP currently used today, OSPF, and prepare them for the configuration and troubleshooting challenges they might face in the exam as well as their career. Any individual who hopes to someday obtain their CCNP and/or CCIE cannot afford to miss this course!!...

3. OSPF on MikroTik with LABS (RouterOS v7)

udemy
5
(139)

OSPF routing protocol is one the best (if not the best) interior routing protocol that many networks' companies use it. It has a lot of features and it is very reliable to be configured on our networks' routers as a routing protocol - that's the good side of the story. The bad side of the story: OSPF is a COMPLEX routing protocol to understand and to configure. Many network engineers working with MikroTik products find OSPF difficult and many of them try to replace it with a simple routing protocol which doesn't requires a lot of IT knowledge such as RIP. That's the easiest way to solve the problem, but believe it that RIP will become a big issue and will cause for you a lot of problems when your network becomes bigger with many routers. For this reason, I have planned to design this course to go fully into OSPF and to show you how you can configure it on MikroTik RouterOS v7. During this course, I will pass through all OSPF topics & I will explain them in a very simple way then I will do a LAB on each of those topics to show you how you can configure this on MikroTik. For the whole course, I will be using GNS3 emulator with the Free Mikrotik CHR license to be able to do my labs. If you are already an old students of my courses, then you may already know how to download/install GNS3 and make it work with the CHR image. With this method, you don't need to invest in buying physical MikroTik routers to follow my course. So in brief, If you want to understand OSPF in the easiest way possible, don't wait to purchase this course so I can share my knowledge to you. Hope to see you in my course...

4. Cisco OSPF Practical Labs 2023- Basic to Advanced

udemy

(233)

OSPF is known to be a Not-So-Easy Protocol to Manage and Implement- That's the reason this course has been Introduced. This course is All about Practical Implementation of OSPF Commands and It's features. You would learn why it is so popular and complex. Open Shortest Path First is a routing protocol for Internet Protocol networks. It uses a link state routing algorithm and falls into the group of interior gateway protocols, operating within a single autonomous system. I have used GNS3 tool to run all of the Labs in OSPF- It's very easy for you to Practice and rehearse all of its Labs. I have added over 20 lectures in this - Almost covered all of its aspects. Good Thing is I will be adding more videos and lectures so that Students get the complete Benefit out of this. This course is over 3 hours. It has been structured well so that you will slowly move On towards more complex Labs. You would find OSPF being used in Most of the Banks and Companies due to its Hierarchical structure and area based approach and which makes it complex protocol. But It has been made EASY now. Try it and reach out to me for any questions...

6. OSPF for the Real World - From Zero to Hero

udemy
4.9
(218)

OSPF , or the Open Shortest Path First protocol, is the most common interior Routing Protocol in Networking. The only other protocol that comes close is IS-IS, and that protocol shares many of the fundamental concepts with OSPF. Understanding the full depth of OSPF will help you: Pass Certification Exams (CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, JNCIP, etc...)Conquer Job interviews for Network Engineering positionsSucceed and Excel in Network Engineer rolesThis course is a modern, practical training series covering the full scope of OSPF. The stated goal of the series is to take anyone with a basic understanding of Networking and Routing, and make them a competent OSPF engineer. The course will cover the most important (and most confusing) parts of OSPF: OSPF AreasOSPF LSAsOSPF Neighbor Adjacency StatesDR / BDR OperationOSPF Metric CalculationOSPF Network TypesOSPF Area TypesOSPF Configuration and Verification commandsThe course focuses on practical training - most of the lessons involve configurations and demonstrations for the concepts that are taught.  There is particular emphasis on teaching the difference between verifying a devices configuration vs a devices operation. Every competent engineer must understand the difference between these two items. The main thing that sets this course apart is the simplicity in which everything is explained an illustrated. You will be hard pressed to find better explanations of all the various OSPF concepts above...

7. Juniper JNCIA - Junos JN0-104 with BGP-ISIS-OSPF & Layer2

udemy
4.7
(247)

This Juniper JNCIA JN0-104 course is my first outing into video training - please be gentle on me, I have designed this course to cover all the topics on the JNCIA and I have included the PowerPoint presentations that I use. I have included 7 hours of EXTRA content found on the Juniper JNCIS-ENT and Juniper JNCIS-SP covering basic juniper Vlans, juniper switching, juniper BGP and OSPF as well as ISIS and RIP mainly because when i done the Juniper JNCIA I was lucky that I was working with Juniper devices in a service provider environment so I was familiar with layer 2 and routing protocols but the JNCIA Junos JN0-104 does not provide this information. Juniper certification is rewarding and a very intresting take on networking and after following my Juniper JNCIA junos jn0-104 certification course you will be ready to move on to Juniper JNCIS. In the work place you will be able to show that you know how to monitor and configure the likes of Spanning Tree, BGP and OSPF, ISIS, RIP and more. I believe that this course will cover two things, it will provide a solid level of knowledge if you do intend to progress to the Juniper JNCIS and it will allow you to have confidence going into your work place by being able to demonstrate that you can preform configuration on and monitor a live production network. We will look at configuration on devices like the Juniper SRX Firewall , Juniper vMX Router and the Juniper QXF Switch...
