Auto-ApplyGrowth Marketer
San Francisco, CA job
Why Flux
Flux is taking the hard out of hardware, by developing the first AI Hardware Engineer. Our goal is to democratize the ability to create bleeding edge hardware, and revolutionize how electronics are designed and built around the world.
The Role
This is a rare opportunity for a marketer who wants to own growth end-to-end. You'll work closely with product, design, and sales, but your focus will be on acquisition, activation, and retention experiments that drive measurable business results.
Think: launching performance marketing campaigns, refining messaging and positioning, building scalable onboarding flows, testing SEO and content bets, or running scrappy experiments that drive a meaningful lift in weeks, not months.
What You'll Do
Run growth campaigns: Design, launch, and optimize multi-channel campaigns (paid, organic, content, email, partnerships).
Craft messaging & positioning: Develop compelling narratives that resonate with technical users and translate product value into user growth.
Optimize funnels: Analyze where users drop off, run A/B tests, and ship improvements to increase conversion and activation rates.
Accelerate acquisition: Explore new channels, audiences, and tactics to efficiently drive qualified users to Flux.
Drive retention & expansion: Create lifecycle campaigns, onboarding flows, and education programs that help users succeed and stick around.
Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner with product and growth engineering on onboarding and in-product flows, with design on creative, and with sales on campaigns.
Measure impact: Track performance across channels, report insights, and prioritize based on data + potential ROI.
Stay scrappy: Move fast, test bold ideas, and scale the ones that work.
What You'll Bring
Proven record of delivering growth in early-stage environments, ideally across acquisition, onboarding, and retention.
Strong foundation in digital marketing (paid media, SEO, content, email, lifecycle).
Data-driven mindset: Comfortable with analytics tools, funnel metrics, and experimentation frameworks.
Empathy for technical users (engineers, designers, makers). Ability to translate complex product value into clear, compelling messaging.
Creative instincts + analytical rigor: you can ship campaigns fast, then measure, iterate, and scale.
Clear communicator who can tell the story of your work in terms of both impact and learnings.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience marketing developer tools, SaaS, or products with technical users.
Familiarity with growth stacks: marketing automation, attribution, A/B testing, SEO, and CRM systems.
Comfort working closely with product and engineering to influence in-product growth loops.
Portfolio of past growth campaigns or experiments that show your creativity, range, and impact.
Profile
Impact-oriented: You don't feel done until real people are getting real value from what you built.
Ambiguity-native: You thrive in the undefined. Our work is full of half-mapped terrain, soft constraints, and ideas that shift under your feet. That energizes you. You constantly update your intuitions as you go, and are excited to discover new and better ways to attack challenges we're still finding words to describe.
Collaborative: You share your thoughts early and often, and welcome debate and creative collaboration. Flux is a deeply collaborative company, and we believe that the best ideas can only win if they're said out loud.
Convention-averse: Flux is an AI-first company, building AI tooling, using AI tooling. We constantly experiment with new tools, techniques, and processes. You feel an urgency to reimagine what your work looks like in this rapidly changing world, and you value critical thinking far above established conventions.
Ownership mentality: You are a self-starter, bias toward action, and care deeply about the team and community who lean on you and your work.

About the Role
Flux is building an AI powered ECAD platform where hardware teams can design real, manufacturable electronics together in the browser.

Champion transparency, rigour, and pace. You believe in building a hiring culture that's deeply collaborative and performance-driven.

Hi there!
The Slack Design team is hiring a content designer. We have opportunities for content design across several areas of the product. This role will focus on top priorities within one area of the product to get grounded in Slack's product strategy and gain expertise in that area. There's plenty of future growth through movement to other areas of the product and working on cross-product initiatives. Most of the experiences you'll work on include AI and Agent interactions.
We're looking for a writer and designer who excels at solving user experience problems through interaction design best practices, content strategy, information structure and language and has experience building content systems that help others do the same.
Our ideal teammate likes to make the complicated simple; provide clarity out of the messiness; and make any product copy sound clear and human. If this sounds like you - please get in touch.
About Content Design at Slack:
We're part of the larger design organization. We specialize in language, partnering with visual and interaction designers, product managers, and user researchers to craft the end-to-end product experience.
Our team mission is to make Slack experiences clear, intuitive and delightful for everyone. It's our job to help people do their work and feel like humans while they do it.
As a team, we give and receive feedback to help each other be the best content designers and thought partners we can be. We love mentoring and coaching other content folks and cross-functional partners who want to learn more about language and our discipline.
Role responsibilities
* Own product copy and content strategy for your teams' features.
* Demonstrate the impact of your work proactively and often. Use data to guide your work and advocate for it.
* Partner with Product Marketing, Product Management, and other cross-functional partners to develop a consistent voice, tone, and taxonomy for your product area.
* Be an active and available craft mentor to other content designers, and partner with us in building our positive, collaborative, healthy team culture.
Requirements
* A portfolio of your work.
* 3+ years experience in product writing, content strategy, and/or copywriting, with a demonstrated record of writing successful product copy with measurable impact.
* Proficiency in Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, or equivalent design tools. Experience prototyping with AI tools is a big plus.
* Experience creating and applying style guides and related artifacts to help others write successfully.
* Ability to track the effects of your work across multiple teams, and proactively manage issues and complexity.
* Leadership skills: the ability to give strong, thoughtful feedback, and an active drive to help others improve.
* Understanding of the Slack voice, and ability to extend it and adapt it based on context.
