    Position Overview: We are looking for a skilled and organized individual to join our team as a Saw Operator/Material Handler. This dual-role position involves cutting various metals and managing materials within the shop. The ideal candidate has experience with circular saws, material handling, and operating a sit-down tow motor. Our family-run business offers a friendly, hands-on work environment and is willing to train the right candidate. Key Responsibilities: Operate a circular saw to cut metals, including steel and stainless steel, to the specified lengths. Accurately read a tape measure (to within a quarter inch) and follow work orders. Use a sit-down tow motor to load/unload trucks and move materials to/from holding areas. Maintain organized workspaces and ensure materials are properly placed. Read packing tickets for shipments and ensure accuracy in handling orders. Requirements: Experience with circular saws or sit-down tow motors; both are a plus. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to read and understand work orders and packing tickets. Comfortable working in a family-run, old-school shop environment. Safety-conscious and reliable. Work Schedule: Monday to Thursday, with overtime as needed on Fridays. Paid half-hour lunch break.
