This role requires strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety and quality. Operators monitor equipment, inspect product, complete documentation, and ensure materials are staged and organized for continuous production. Responsibilities: Operate, start up, and shut down slitting equipment according to work orders and procedures Set machine conditions, monitor performance, and respond to alarms or deviations Inspect product, take samples, and enter quality data into computerized systems Package, label, and stage finished product, scrap, and raw materials using forklifts or hoists Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area while supporting maintenance and training efforts Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures Mechanical aptitude and basic computer skills Willingness to work any shift and overtime as required Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
