The Role of the Sales Specialist: Being a Sales Specialist in the furniture retail industry can vary day-to-day as each customer brings different needs, desires, and their own unique style. You may assist with the display of the show room floor through set-up, visual appeal, and tagging merchandise. Ensuring store neatness and cleanliness is directly in line with providing superior customer service and helps showcase the products we have for sale! You should maintain awareness of product information, and ongoing merchandise promotions and advertisements. Qualifications for a Successful Sales Specialist: High school diploma/GED required. Mathematical skills to calculate discounts, interest, and percentages.
