Job Description
L and T Tree Services is expanding and looking for a Climber/Aerial Lift Operator with a strong work ethic to provide clients with a great experience. Responsibilities include performing a variety of climb and ground person duties such as chipping, cabling, rigging, and using hand and power tools to get the job done.
You should ideally have strong communication skills, work well with other crew members, and be physically capable of performing strenuous tree removal services at high heights and in all weather conditions. Compensation:
$26 - $36 hourly
Responsibilities:
Collect and feed branches and brush into a chipper
Execute tree removal services
Observe and comply to all safety policies and procedures
Wield equipment, power and hand tools to complete tasks
Trimming and pruning tree maintenance services
Perform pre-operation and post-operation hazard and safety checks, recognizing and communicating work hazards
Perform tree pruning and removal according to work orders, ensuring both company and customer satisfaction. This includes rigging, crane removals, and proper pruning techniques from an arboricultural perspective
Inspect and assess tree health and risks in order to provide recommendations to customers
Tree identification
Basic maintenance of outdoor power equipment
Daily truck and/or trailer pre-trip inspection
Climbing and rigging gear inspection
Good understanding of tree care safety standards, including ANSI Z133
Knowledgeable in intermediate and advanced rigging techniques
Excellent communication and leadership skills with a strong emphasis on teaching and mentoring
Qualifications:
Strong communication and teamwork ethic required
Valid driver's license required; commercial driver's license (CDL) preferred
Applicant must be comfortable working at high heights and in all weather conditions
Physically able to lift (50+ lbs)
A high school diploma or GED is preferred
Currently live within a 40-mile radius of Norwood Young America
1 year of minimum climbing experience
1-year minimum aerial lift experience
ISA arborist preferred, but not required
Valid driver's license and good driving record
Pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
CPR/First Aid certificate - company provided
Ability to lift 80 lbs

This position pays $25.35 to $28.40 per hour.
Essential Functions
Responsible for inspecting materials to ensure that products meet established quality standards and quantities are correct for each order
Perform final machining, finishing, and assembly operations on aluminum poles
Perform drilling, painting and component installation on aluminum poles
Bundle, crate, box and wrap products to be shipped to protect the finished product from freight damage Load truck with finished product
Ability to wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE) and work both in a non-temperature controlled environment and outdoors.

Required Qualifications of Every Candidate (Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)
The ability to calculate simple mathematics and interpret shop drawings.
High School Diploma or GED
One year experience working in a fast paced manufacturing environment
Ability to accurately perform basic arithmetic calculations
Ability to read and work with prints, drawings and work documents
Ability to accurately take measurements using close tolerance measuring instruments
Acceptable attendance and prior employment record
The ability to work in a team environment with a diverse group of people.
The ability to pay attention to detail and follow work instructions .
Wear required personal protective equipment and follow facility safety regulations.

Highly Qualified Candidates Will Also Possess These Qualifications
1 - 3 years of experience in shipping/receiving position.
Familiarity with radial saws, hand tools, overhead cranes and general shop safety
The ability to pay attention to detail and follow work instructions
The ability to communicate and interact with coworkers in a positive manner
Must be a person of passion and integrity who has the drive to excel and deliver exceptional results.
Must have a high awareness for safety at all times.
Working Conditions & Physical Efforts:
The job is performed in an indoor shop environment. The temperature range can be from 100 degrees in the summer to about 50 degrees in the winter. Most operations may expose employee to some type of disagreeable working conditions (wind, cold, heat, dust, dirt, fumes, noise, vibration, water, or oil). Working conditions may vary with specific work assignments. Exposure to electrical hazards, grease, loud noises, and outside elements occur continually or regularly. Extreme care should be taken to prevent damage to equipment or department personnel in the area of operations especially when performing setups. The job requires safety glasses, hearing protection, and metatarsal safety shoes be worn at all times. The employee must be able to spend the entire work shift on their feet within the shop environment. The incumbent must also be able to wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE) for working in the production facility.
Hazards:
This job requires handling metal objects some of which have sharp edges. Extreme care and awareness should be taken for all production jobs. Below are some common hazards that exist for this particular position. Set up and run of equipment provides the potential for injury through slips, falls, strains, pinch points, tripping hazards, shot blasting equipment, high pressure air nozzles, material handling equipment.

The incumbent will work 8-hour shifts, Monday - Friday, 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Some overtime work may be required.
Essential Job Functions
Line and pad crates and assemble cartons. Obtain and sort product.
Wrap protective material around product.
Inspect materials, products and containers at each step of the packaging process.
Record information such as weight, time and date packaged.
Mark and label containers, container tags, or products, using marking tools.
Record product, packaging and order information on specified forms and records.
Remove completed or defective products or materials, placing them in designated areas.
Seal containers or materials, using glues, fasteners, nails and hand tools.
Load materials and products into package processing equipment.
Clean containers, materials, supplies, or work areas, using cleaning solutions and hand tools.
Requirements
High school diploma or GED.
Completion of Nor-Ell job training, with demonstrated proficiency in the job.
Able to read and understand English.
Able to count and do simple math (primarily addition).
Able to lift up to 75 lbs.
Able to tolerate high heat and humidity while doing physical activity.
Have free range of motion - bending, stooping, twisting, walking, balancing.
People who have allergies or are sensitive to chemicals should avoid this position.
Preferred Experience
Previous manufacturing environment experience.

Member of warehouse operations team. Delivers parts and finished goods to and from the various Cirrus facilities in a Cirrus truck. Follows a daily trucking schedule to ensure parts are delivered in a timely manner. Performs manual and clerical duties related to shipping, receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing and delivering a variety of materials, equipment and aircraft parts in an aircraft manufacturing environment. Reports to Cirrus Warehouse Supervisor.
Job Duties:
Driving delivery trucks to and from Cirrus facilities.
Efficiently managing multiple requests.
Unpacks, examines, counts and labels incoming material.
Records receipts and reports discrepancies.
Compares and matches paperwork such as packing slips and certifications with purchase orders.
Transports goods and may utilize material handling equipment and vehicles.
Performs receiving, put away, picking, packing and shipping of goods.
Ensure proper product handling and storage to prevent abuse, misuse, damage or deterioration.
Obtain, prepare aircraft parts for shipment to the Aftermarket customer base
Obtain, prepare aircraft parts for delivery to the production floor, convey in a timely fashion
Maintain an inventory control and management system, including work order closing
Support all facility regulatory and safety codes
Maintain inventory accuracy and accessibility
DOT Certification required (able to acquire at time of hire)
Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Valid Driver's license a must.
Aviation related technical degrees preferred, not required
Warehouse operations experience preferred, not required
Ability to operate and utilize handheld inventory management scanner required
Ability to operate computers with the Windows operating system
Knowledge on aircraft/parts is a plus
