SMA Healthcare company history timeline
The SMA Healthcare Foundation was founded in 1997 by James Foster at the request of Reverend Hal Marchman and Doctor Ernest Cantley.
In 2008, Stewart-Marchman Center merged with ACT Corporation and became Stewart-Marchman-Act Behavioral Healthcare.
With the 2008 merger, the Foundation expanded its support to include mental health services.
In 2018, Stewart-Marchman-Act Behavioral Healthcare rebranded to SMA Healthcare and the Foundation became formally known as the SMA Healthcare Foundation.
