Cons of working at SmartFinancial, Inc.

I interviewed for the Account Manager position at Smart Financial, asking critical questions to ensure the organization was ethical and supportive. Unfortunately, they misrepresented the truth. Equal Opportunity: I asked if every employee is given equal opportunity, and while they said yes, the reality is quite different. Employees are not treated equally, as favoritism and unfair treatment persist. Achievable Expectations: They claimed the job's expectations were realistic and achievable, but in reality, the majority of new hires struggle to meet these expectations. The environment is set up for many to fail. High Turnover Rate: I also inquired about the high turnover rate. Instead of addressing it honestly, they misled me, hiring large numbers of account managers with the intent of keeping only those who survive the pressure, while the rest are let go. Hinse why there is always a new Account Manager job posting. The job itself is not as advertised. Instead of calling "win-back" leads as promised, the same leads are over-saturated among more than 50 account managers. This forces employees to resort to cold calling, which was not part of the job description. The constant turnover, poor management, and lack of support create a toxic work environment where you are treated as just another number. Employees are given uneven opportunities, with some receiving many accounts to work with while others are left struggling with significantly fewer. Managers are largely absent, always in meetings, leaving employees without guidance or support. Bottom line: This company is unethical and untrustworthy. They fail to deliver on their promises, treat employees poorly, and do not invest in their workforce. Please do not consider working here based on their misleading claims.
