You Have:

**About the Team**
Our Systems Engineering & Solution Sales organization is made up of 800+ customer-focused technical sales professionals who are responsible for identifying and matching technology opportunities with the customer's business issues and objectives, as well as channel partner training and enablement. This team also acts in a consultative fashion and is looked to as an expert in their field by Nutanix sales, customer success, business partners, and customers.
**Your Role**
+ Be the key subject matter expert and influencer in shaping customer decisions to adopt Nutanix technologies
+ Steer customer adoption initiatives and ensure ongoing satisfaction with the implemented solution
+ Have a love for solving complex operational challenges using automation
+ Present and demonstrate Nutanix technologies, drive customer engagements from early conversations to decision making evaluations.
+ Create long-term business relationships and become a trusted advisor within select accounts.
+ Create and deliver technical product & solution presentations and training sessions to customers, partners and field sales as needed.
+ Install, support and maintain Nutanix solutions during proofs of concept deployments.

**What You Will Bring**
+ 10+ years of relevant experience in IT Operations, DevOps or technical sales with a proven track record of driving customer adoption of technology
+ Seasoned experience with Public Cloud solutions based on AWS, Azure or GCP.
+ Experience in scripting, coding in Python, Java, Go, or NodeJS, and Linux administration.
+ Deep understanding of containers and container orchestration systems such as Kubernetes, Mesos, DC/OS, Swarm and OpenShift.
+ Experience with infrastructure configuration and management tools such as Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Salt and Terraform.
+ Experience working in large environments with RDBMS, EDW, NoSQL.
+ Experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk, ELK.
+ Knowledgeable IT finance fundamentals (ROI/TCO conversations and public cloud cost)
+ Be a self-starter who can flourish in a dynamic technology company
+ Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-adapting environment, working with cross-functional teams and leveraging company resources to drive sales using a combination of top-down and bottom-up tactics.
+ Must be a well-adept communicator and presenter with excellent writing skills and a penchant for organization, constant follow-up and attention to detail.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $165,600 and USD $ 248,400 per year.
