We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Custom Wood Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in woodworking, a deep understanding of custom fabrication techniques, and a passion for producing top-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:
• Review shop drawings for scope of work at hand.
• Generate a list of materials required to fabricate custom item.
• Ensure all items required to fabricate custom item are in house; complete an order form for items needed as required.
• Create a “cut list” of parts needed to begin fabrication and review the information with the shop foreman prior to having the saw room cut the parts.
• Work in a timely fashion, with teammates, to complete the task on time and per spec.
Safety:
• Work in a safe and conscientious manner. Observe all safety rules and regulations.
• Use power and hand tools as required to effectively complete tasks.
• Use power tool guards and lock out procedures as necessary to ensure a safe workplace.
• Review the appropriate shop drawings and ensure that the parts you have are in order, are the proper color, material, and size.
• Install hardware, to the extent possible, for any given task.
• Learn and become proficient with all aspects of custom fabrication.
Qualifications:
• Experience performing skilled carpentry work in a commercial environment is desired.
• Professional experience with wood shop tools.
• Willingness to learn
• Cabinetry installation experience is desired but not required.
• Experience fabricating with plastic laminates. (Formica, Wilsonart, Pionite, etc.)
