Mr. Smith co-founded the Company and has served as Chairman of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer since its inception in 1982. Smith Micro Software, Inc. provides software and services that simplify, secure, and enhance the mobile experience. The Company’s portfolio of wireless solutions includes a wide range of client and server applications that manage voice, data, video, and connectivity over mobile broadband networks.Over three decades under the expert leadership of Mr. Smith, the company has developed extensive expertise in embedded software for networked devices (both wireless and wired), which has been leveraged to solve an unending tide of connectivity and mobile service challenges for our customers. From 1975 to 1984, Mr. Smith was employed by Rockwell International Corporation in a variety of technical and management positions. Mr. Smith served with Xerox Data Systems from 1972 to 1975 and RCA Computer Systems Division from 1969 to 1972 in mainframe sales and pre-sale technical roles. Mr. Smith received a B.A. in Business Administration from Grove City College.

Ken joined Smith Micro in 2010 where he led the Enterprise Mobility Product platform. Prior to Smith Micro, he was Vice President of Operations for Tollgrade Communications. He also served as Vice President of Supply & Logistics for Ericsson, Inc. and worked for Marconi as Vice President of Supply Chain and served as its Vice President of North American Operations. He joined Fore Systems in 1994, and previously held management positions with IBM. Ken holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering degree from Pennsylvania State University.

Mr. Sperling joined the Company in April 1989 and has been the Company's Director of Software Engineering since April 1992. He assumed the Chief Technology Officer position in September 1999. Mr. Sperling began his professional career as a software engineer at the Company and currently has two issued and seven patents pending for various telephony and Internet technologies. Mr. Sperling holds a B.S. degree in Computer Science and an MBA from the University of California, Irvine.
