Work Schedule: Days/nights vary, including weekends Shifts Available: 6 am to 4 pm 6pm to 4 am Starting Pay: $16 per hour Our Warehouse Cleaning/Janitorial positions perform the following duties within designated work areas, as assigned at the beginning of each shift: Cleaning restrooms, break areas (indoor/outdoor), office areas Sweeping, mopping, dusting, removing trash Ensure all walkways are clean and tidy at all times Clean totes and other items Some deep cleaning, as needed Follow all safety and quality standards Other basic janitorial duties as assigned Requirements for our Warehouse Cleaning/Janitorial Positions: Ability to lift and move totes up to 49 pounds Walking in and around the facility with great frequency throughout the entire shift Must be able to stand and walk for up to 10-12 hours Background Check and Drug Test Required Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and safe handling for chemicals sheets/documents (generally in English; may have in Spanish where state required) Dexterity in eye/hand coordination, feet (foot pedals), manual (picking, pinching, holding, grasping), and wrist motion (repetitive flexion/rotation) KBS utilizes the KBSPresence mobile timekeeping software for accurate recording of employee work hours, attendance management, completion of required training, and distribution of important employment-related information. All non-exempt employees are required to download and use the KBSPresence app on their personal mobile devices to clock in and out for their shifts and breaks. KARL STORZ is currently seeking Onsite Endoscopic Specialists to join our exciting team in the Chicago, IL area. Reporting to the Region Manager of Onsite Service, the primary responsibility of this role is to provide on-site, hands-on client support of KARL STORZ's medical devices (including hand instruments and video equipment) for the role's assigned clients (hospital or surgery center). This role will be primarily working with the client's Sterile Processing Departments and Operating Room team members. Shift: 6:30AM-3:00PM KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Key responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to: Face-to-face client support, including Operating Room, Sterile Processing Department and Biomed Daily maintenance and management of the client's KARL STORZ devices Maintain the instrument sets so they are always in excellent working order and ready for use; keep repairs and replacement equipment expenses within a predetermined budget for the account; preventative maintenance on all KARL STORZ devices; troubleshoot video and instrument issues in the Operating Room; inspection of the instruments and documentation of their functionality Training and education of KARL STORZ devices and/or services for the Operating Room and supporting departments Identifying process improvement opportunities and designing workflows to improve efficiencies and reduce repair costs Tasks will vary depending on the agreement with the account and will generally include: KARL STORZ video tower/system set-up and support; Inspection, repair, troubleshooting, and replacement of KARL STORZ devices; Monitoring, reporting, and facilitating repair/ exchange transactions; Transporting, cleaning/sterilization, and packaging of KARL STORZ instruments after use. Responsibilities Responsible for pulling orders based on pick ticket to accurately build orders for loading onto delivery trucks. Build orders according to assigned load tickets using industrial power equipment. Manually lift and move product to restock and repack ensuring date code accuracy and proper rotation. Adhere to good manufacturing practices and safety standards. Responsible for meeting productivity requirements. Stage completed pallets in designated areas. Follow established company Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality procedures and policies. Actively participate in Hazard Mitigation. Complete assigned Health & Safety trainings. Qualifications High School diploma or GED required. Minimum 6 months of general work experience. Experience working with manual or powered pallet jacks preferred. Daily Activities Repetitively lift, carry, and position product (weighing up to 50 lbs.) above shoulder height without assistance. Consistent kneeling, squatting, and reaching above the head. Ability to push and pull manual and powered equipment (i.e., pallet jack, hand-truck, etc.) containing product loads for a minimum of 100 yards without assistance. Ability to repetitively grasp and manipulate objects of varying size and weight requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Ability to read information in small, medium, and large print. The Order Fulfillment Specialist is responsible for performing all tasks related to fulfilling orders. Receives inventory items and ships products as required. Performs Quality Control on all products before shipment in order to maintain Ikonix USA's reputation for outstanding quality and attention to detail.
