WHAT WE'RE SEEKING:

Overview
This role is responsible for conducting general maintenance and repairs on the Nestlé Solon corporate campus facility's equipment and property structures. The main objective is to ensure heating and plumbing systems function optimally, providing a comfortable environment for employees. The position also supports the design and construction team with onsite projects and offers expertise on local systems.
Primary Responsibilities
Inspect buildings, equipment, and systems to identify issues
Repair faulty equipment
Manage HVAC systems' computer controls for climate control
Oversee all building lighting, including replacements and repairs
Perform general maintenance: painting, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, flooring, and plumbing
Maintain the exterior of buildings and campus grounds
Keep records and inventory for equipment and supplies

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

Reconcile accounts monthly to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
Participate in CAPEX project management and coordination.
Support Flux analysis and reporting requirements.
Extract, compile, review, and analyze information from a variety of financial and non-financial systems.
Ensure internal policies and controls are complied with including data integrity, asset protection, segregation of duties, budgeting, financial reporting, information systems and adherence to corporate policies (GAAP, SOX compliance, etc.).
Prepare documentation and lead correspondence with Internal and External Auditors.
Participate in process improvements and documentation.
Work closely with Manufacturing Operations and Project Teams as needed.
Adherence to PP&E authoritative US GAAP guidance (ASC 360).
Perform other assigned duties as may be required in meeting company objectives.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Strong knowledge of the capitalization of costs including accounting for capital projects, capitalized interest and fixed asset ledger maintenance.
Customer-centric, focused on providing proactive systems solutions to drive business performance.
Must be well organized and detail oriented with the ability to solve problems.
Ability to effectively communicate and interface with all levels throughout the company.

Additionally, you will maintain comprehensive documentation, including equipment manuals, mechanical and electrical drawings, parts lists, specifications, and vendor/service contact information, ensuring all project details are properly organized and accessible.
Reports and Proposals: You will conduct engineering planning, design, and operational reviews during pre-project studies to assess feasibility and ensure alignment with project goals. You will determine the scope of work, prepare requests for proposals, and evaluate the proposals received to select the best approach. Additionally, you will submit detailed reports to management by established deadlines, keeping them informed on progress and key project developments.
Review of Bids and Project Preparation: You are responsible for contract administration, including reviewing bid packages to ensure compliance and completeness.
