o Safety minded worker who is drug free and dependable with an excellent attendance record

o Performs complex disassembly and assembly work duties

o Basic welding/burning functions. Performs heating required for some assemblies
o Performs grit blasting and steam cleanings

o Assists other employees as directed by management or group leaders
o Completes forms, routers, and related paperwork
o Mentors other employees as needed

Education
o High school diploma or GED preferred
o Reading/writing skills (literacy) as required
o Mathematics - knows basic shop math and other functions necessary for the job
o OSHA General Industry 10 Hour Course is preferred

What you'll do
Lead all activities and staff engagement in the recording of hours of work, processing time records, compiling payroll data, maintaining payroll records, calculating payrolls and quarterly taxes, ensuring the timely and accurate distribution of pay and deductions

Ensures that the enrollment process as it relates to payroll deductions, recordkeeping and documentation for all health-related benefits, are timely and accurate, and are maintained in accordance with all applicable policies, procedures and laws

Manage compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations with respect to payroll and retirement savings plans

What you'll do
Schedule, receive purchase orders in SAP/GSS, create shipping documents and track all shipments through delivery
Post goods issue in SAP to trigger invoices to customers
Handle all import and export related matters
Ensure materials and goods are delivered to sites/vendors in a timely manner as per clients' and/or internal criteria
Assess and recommend ideal shipping methods, routing or carriers to meet necessary parameters, specifications and costs
Communicates regularly with internal customers and logistics providers. This includes working closely with SMS group's Buyers, Engineers, Project Managers, Site Managers and suppliers
Addresses issues and actively participates in the resolution
Maintains documentation and continually monitors carrier performance
Develops logistics plans in cooperation with Project Management and Service Plant Managers
What you'll need
Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field
Preferred 2+ years of logistics experience including shipping, working with carriers and freight forwarders, import and export procedures
Able to manage time effectively
Excellent oral and written language skills
Familiarity with GSS or SAP Pro4 business system is preferred
Working knowledge of standard computer software, including Word, Excel and Outlook
