Depending on experience, coursework and credentials- there are two types of positions available for early childcare professionals, Teacher Associate or Teacher (Head Caregiver). To be eligible for this position you must posses, or be able to obtain, one of the following: CDA,CCP or Associates Degree in Early Childhood or Human/Child Development or One year of successful experience working with young children and one higher education course successfully completed in early childhood education of human/child development. Complete orientation training to include: Medication Administration, disease prevention, diapering and hand washing procedures, childcare protection, and positive discipline techniques. Complete at least six hours of professional development coursework per year. All staff shall have 3 positive written references and a written work history on files, which attests to their ability to perform the duties related to their job description.
