About the Role Lambda is seeking an Electrical Automation Engineer who will help design and develop the automation layer powering Lambda's advanced data center electrical systems. This role bridges traditional electrical engineering with modern control, telemetry, and hardware design. You'll bring your foundation in power systems analysis and protection and expand it into automation logic, PCB-level design, and emerging DCIM architecture for our next-generation AI data centers. This role operates at the leading edge of the marriage between IT and OT, and the push towards Elemental Data Centers. What You'll Do Power Systems Analysis (15%) - Perform load flow, short circuit, arc flash, and relay coordination studies on existing sites. Review relay database (.rdb) logic and validate system protection schemes. Automation & Controls Development (20%) - Develop and implement automation frameworks for power capping, oversubscription, and real-time electrical control. Collaborate with software and operations teams on DCIM integration.
