SMX is currently recruiting for a results-driven software tester to be responsible for designing and running tests on software usability. The software tester will conduct tests, analyze the results, and report observations to the design team. You may also interact with clients in order to understand the requirements of the product. To be successful as a software tester, you should have a working knowledge of software and test design, the capability to run through tests, and the ability to analyze the results. The software tester should be result-driven, have excellent communication skills, and up-to-date knowledge of software programming and software test design. This is a remote, Honolulu, Hawaii based position, we may consider candidates on the West Coast.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Reviewing software requirements and preparing test scenarios.
Executing tests on software usability.
Analyzing test results on database impacts, errors or bugs, and usability.
Preparing reports on all aspects related to the software testing carried out and reporting to the design team.
Interacting with clients to understand product requirements.
Participating in design reviews and providing input on requirements, product design, and potential problems.
Conduct thorough software testing, analyze data, write test cases, and communicate with developers.
Checking software functionality on different operating systems, browsers, and devices to ensure that the software is up to standard and meets the users' needs.
Communicate the results of software testing efforts to stakeholders and suggest areas of improvement.
Lead the technical system testing effort through all testing types and cycles
Support planning and execution of user acceptance testing systems and activities
Required Skills/Experience:
A bachelor's degree in computer science, computer programming or a related field.
3+ years of experience as a software tester or software quality assurance specialist.
Up-to-date knowledge of software test design and testing methodologies.
Working knowledge of test techniques and compatibility with various software programs.
Working knowledge of programming.
Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
Good organizational skills and detail-oriented mindset.
Understanding of various programming languages like Java, C++, and Python.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Master's degree in computer science.
Knowledge of computer architecture and tools for manual & auto testing, unit testing, integration testing, functional testing, and bug-tracking systems.
Demonstrated success in software development lifecycle management (SDLC).
Experience in working with test automation tools like Selenium, Appium, or Robot Framework.
Excellent interpersonal skills, analytical soundness, data analysis acumen and troubleshooting & programming capabilities.
Experience with CI/CD tools and platforms (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Travis CI) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
Relevant software testing certifications include Certified Software Tester (CSTE), ISTQB Agile Tester Certification or Certified Associate in Software Testing (CAST).

QUALIFICATIONS:
A graduate from a physical therapist assistant curriculum approved by the American Physical Therapy Association.
Currently licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of Colorado.
Minimum of one-year experience working with the frail or elderly population required.

Participate in patient care conferences and other rehabilitation related meetings as appropriate.
Communicate with Registered Physical Therapist and IDT members regarding patient progress, problems and plans.
Participate in in-service training programs for all staff in the facility.
Instruct participant and family members and nursing staff in restorative and therapeutic maintenance programs.
Abides by regulations pertaining to PACE as established by Federal and State Agencies and the Volunteers of America Health Facilities policies.
Attends required in-services & completes assigned online modules.

**Qualifications:**
- Strong communication skills and ability to produce and present presentations to executive-level leadership.
- Knowledge of Federal financials is a plus.

- Top Secret clearance required.

Summary:
A Stepdown Registered Nurse provides care to patients who are transitioning from intensive care to medical-surgical or general inpatient units. **Required Education and Experience:**
+ Bachelor's degree in related discipline plus 8 or more years of directly related experience in a Federal Government contracting environment. In some cases, educational requirements may be adjusted or waived for more than 10 years applicable work experience.
+ Experience working in an approved purchasing system (CPSR) environment.
+ Experience working with cross-functional teams in a collaborate environment.
+ Experience leading a team of procurement professionals.
+ Working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).

Required Qualifications:
One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN
Current Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
Preferred Qualifications:
Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN) Certification
NIHSS Certification
Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position
Summary:
A Stepdown Registered Nurse provides care to patients who are transitioning from intensive care to medical-surgical or general inpatient units. These patients require frequent monitoring and specialized nursing interventions. They assess and manage complex patient needs, administer medications and treatments, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, patient-centered care.
Essential Work Functions:
Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and other telemetry data to detect abnormalities and respond appropriately
Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, with a focus on cardiac care
Prepares equipment and aids physician during cardiac-related procedures and examinations
Maintains awareness of comfort and safety needs of telemetry patients
Observes patient, records significant conditions and reactions, and notifies supervisor or physician of patient's cardiac status and response to interventions
Responds to life-saving situations based upon nursing standards, policies, procedures, and protocols specific to cardiac emergencies
Documents nursing history and physical assessment for assigned telemetry patients
Initiates patient education plans according to individualized needs, focusing on cardiac health, risk factors, and lifestyle modifications
Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for telemetry patients
Maintains confidentiality of patients and client
Performs other duties as assigned within the scope of practice
Adheres to hospital safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and regulatory standards
Required Essential Skills:
Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills
The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
Ability to read/comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and proficiency in PC skills
Physical Abilities - Must be able to remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), push, pull, and bend
Interpersonal Skills - Must be able to work effectively with a variety of personnel (professional and ancillary) to present a positive attitude and professionalism
Technical/Motor Skills - Must have the ability to grasp, perform fine manipulation, push/pull, and move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment
Mental Requirements - Must be able to cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers while meeting deadlines under pressure. Must be able to work under close supervision occasionally, as well as working without assistance from other personnel. Must be able to contend with irregular activity schedules occasionally and continuous concentration to detail
Sensory - Must possess visual acuity and ability to effectively communicate
