About this Position
Conduct on-site concurrent (in high schools in the Oklahoma City area) instruction in Psychology. Instructors will develop in each student the skills of critical thinking and to help students learn course content in psychology so they can apply it personally, professionally, and in the community.
Required Qualifications
Master's Degree in discipline or related area or Master's Degree with 18 hours in discipline required (transfer classes).

About this Position

Perform patient assessment and treatment, monitor vital signs, managing complex medical situations, family communication, collaboration with healthcare team (NICU nurses, respiratory therapists, and other specialists) to develop and carry out a comprehensive care plan for each infant; perform procedures
Attend high-risk deliveries requiring expertise in delivery room resuscitation and stabilization anticipated events.
Actively participate in daily patient rounds, medical records documentation of patient status, admission H and P, daily progress notes, procedure notes, medication reconciliation. and discharge summaries.
Perform NICU attending on clinical service with rotations in the NICU, on-site night and, week-end day or night calls in rotation with the other NICU attendings, possible, high risk follow-up/developmental clinics, and conducting neonatal critical care transports.
Serve as supervising physician in the residency training program teaching and supervising residents and participating in the interviews/recruitment, mentoring and evaluation of residents.
Participate in any of a range of scholarly activities such as clinical research with potential for reviewed publications and or extramural grant support necessary for eligibility for academic advancement.
Participate in the teaching and supervision of medical students, health related professions students and staff. Engagement in administrative and committee work as institutional service is also expected and necessary for academic advancement.

Job Description
We are seeking a full-time BSN instructor to teach OB or Pediatrics. No prior teaching experience is required but must have recent bedside experience in OB or Pediatrics. Pay: $60-70/hr DOE

Collaborates with other instructors in preparing, administering, and grading examinations for the course. Participates in the preparation of the final evaluations for the course

The Department of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences is renowned for its clinical training programs in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology as well as its active doctoral program. Our department includes 30 faculty, 104 graduate students in three degree programs (MS, AuD, PhD), and 208 undergraduate students.

This one-year faculty appointment is designed to train Family Medicine physicians high-risk obstetrics, surgical assisting, and management of common newborn conditions. You will be trained in rural health care, prenatal care, obstetric ultrasound, newborn resuscitation and stabilization, care of newborns in the Special Care Nursery, and care of high-risk obstetrical conditions.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Associates degree from a regionally accredited college or technical school with major study aviation technology, education, business administration, engineering or related field.
Experience: Six (6) years of teaching experience in the aviation technology field or six (6) years of military or FAA experience in Air Traffic Control.
License/Certification: FAA or Military Air Traffic Control certification
Preferred Qualifications/Certifications: FAA instructor experience, Recent Air Traffic Control experience, Adjunct Teaching experience.
The salary range for this position is $825-$975 per contact hour. The rate will be determined by the appointed adjunct faculty rank, which is based on education and industry and/or teaching experience.

Department Background:
The Teacher Education Department (TED) offers undergraduate programs in Early Childhood, Elementary, and Middle Level Education, plus Elementary Bilingual Education. Master's level programs include Early Childhood, Elementary, Middle Level, and Secondary Education, as well as an MS degree in Teaching and Inquiry. The department also offers an undergraduate Bilingual Education minor and a graduate level program that facilitates the addition of a bilingual teaching endorsement for pre-service and licensed teachers. The department examines and advocates for equity, diversity, and inclusion through scholarship, service, mentorship, and teaching. All programs in our department are fully approved by the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) for in-person delivery, with some course options for hybrid, online, or remote delivery.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will teach three courses in secondary mathematics education, secondary school curriculum, and/or middle level mathematics education, or a closely related field each semester during the academic year. Course assignments may include clinical and student teaching field supervision and seminars. Graduate advising is a part of assigned responsibilities and office hours need to be delivered, at least in part, in person. Scholarly research and service to the department, college, university, and greater community also are required.
Required Qualifications:
An earned doctorate in Mathematics Education or a closely related field from a regionally accredited institution (ABD with completion by 8/1/2026 will be considered). The department seeks candidates with a minimum of three years of teaching experience in secondary (grades 9-12) mathematics.
The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable about culturally-responsive pedagogical techniques and effective practices for engaging diverse learners. At a minimum, candidates should understand how historical patterns of oppression have shaped these groups' experiences, especially how real or perceived exclusion can shape patterns of classroom participation and outcomes. Evidence of research and/or scholarly potential commensurate with the expectations for a beginning assistant professor at a regional, comprehensive university is expected.
Preferred Qualifications:
Candidates with a teaching license and five or more years of secondary school teaching experience will be given priority, as well as candidates with middle level education experience. Other priorities include recent and direct teaching experience with diverse learners, a willingness to examine and remediate one's instructional, relational, and classroom practices to more effectively engage and support all students, and expertise in culturally responsive teaching. Knowledge of and proficiency with online and remote instruction, as well as an interest in developing new degree and certificate programs, expertise in assessment, and evidence of successful collaboration, are preferred. Facility in a second language is also preferred.
