Responsibilities
As a Transport Driver you will drive a tanker truck (11,400 gallon capacity) to pick up propane at the supply point (e.g. refinery, pipeline terminal, storage facility) and deliver it to area AmeriGas facilities. The driver will make four to five pick-ups and deliveries per day, driving an average of 500 miles per day and working up to 14 hours per day. Approximately 80 percent of the driver's time is spent driving or waiting in line at the supply point. Duties include, but are not limited to:
Drive the tanker truck to pick up propane at the refinery and deliver to area AmeriGas facilities; approximately 45 minutes is required to load or unload the truck.
Attach terminal hoses to the truck connections to pump propane into the tanker
Use permanent hoses attached to the filling ports or the hoses stored in the truck to unload the tanker. The hoses stored on the truck come in two sizes: 20 feet long, three inches in diameter; and 19 feet long, 1½ inches in diameter
Perform twice-daily truck inspections
May climb ladders at some AmeriGas facilities to check gauges at the top of the bulk tanks.
Requirements
3 Years' tractor and trailer experience with a minimum of 200,000 miles
1 year of tanker experience within the last 3 years, preferred
Hazmat and tanker endorsements
Eligible for a Transportation Workers Identification Card (TWIC)
No accidents in the previous 3 years
No more than one moving violation within the previous 2 years

Training Lead - Vocational & Technical Programs

About the Role
Virginia Transformer Corp. is seeking an experienced Training Lead with a strong vocational or technical instruction background - ideally including hands-on welding training - to develop and deliver practical, skills-based training across our manufacturing operations. This is an on-the-floor, technical role focused on building workforce capability and ensuring employees are fully skilled in transformer production processes and related trades.
You'll work closely with production supervisors, engineers, and HR to identify skill gaps, train new and existing employees, and develop structured learning programs that strengthen our workforce across multiple sites.
What You'll Do
Hands-On Training & Instruction
Conduct in-person training on transformer assembly, winding, basic welding and fabrication, blueprint reading, and shop safety.

**GPC Solar / BESS / DERs - I&C Technician - McGrau Ford, Battery Energy Storage Site** The primary purpose of this position is to provide O&M support for GPC R2Gen - McGrau Ford, Battery Energy Storage site located in Ball Ground, GA. The work location for this position will be the McGrau Ford site with the potential to support sister sites if needed.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and reliable operation and maintenance of the battery energy storage site. Duties include both monitoring and operation of the assets through SCADA, as well as maintenance activities such as inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs of AC and DC systems. Equipment examples include but are not limited to inverters, battery modules, battery systems, SCADA systems, plant controllers, transformers, switchgear, and metering systems. The successful candidate will work routinely with 600v-1500v DC systems and will need to be familiar with medium-voltage AC systems up to 34.5KV. The candidate will be responsible for all site compliance including contractor administration, environmental, health, and safety. All technicians in this role are required to facilitate and execute LOTO using Generation SafeTK. The successful candidates will use IBM Maximo for planning work, executing work, documenting work, managing inventory, and tracking plant equipment issues. This position could expand into future solar training and solar work based on business needs.
Typical work schedules for this position may include 5/8s or 4/10s, however, schedules may be adjusted to suit the needs of the business. Must be available for night, weekend, and holiday work as required. This may include storm duty as needed.
