- Operates pickup truck with snowplow and deicer to remove ice and snow from commercial accounts throughout assigned areas, which require early morning starts, extended hours, and weekend duty including holidays.
- Responds in a timely manner (within 30 minutes) when called to assist in snow plowing.
- Ensure that assigned properties under responsibility of this position are adequately and safely serviced when required.
- At times shoveling of snow, grounds maintenance and other duties as assigned related to facilities and site maintenance might be needed.
- Inspects equipment on regularly scheduled basis before leaving for a shift. Complies with safety precautions.
- Maintains clean and ready to go equipment needed for snow removal.

SUPERVISOR(S): Project Manager / Area Manager / Operations Manager
JOB SUMMARY: The purpose of the position is to respond in a timely manner to snow events and assisting in completing effective and safe snow removal throughout the areas assigned and with assisting helping locations outside coverage area when needed. The position is required to perform all tasks in an effective, complete, and professional manner and is responsible for adhering to all policies and values of the East End Group LLC. while at work.
Minimum Training and Experience Required to Perform Essential Job Functions:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent, with prior responsible work experience or any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Applicant must possess a valid Driver’s License - Class A or B with air brake endorsement vehicles also available for driving but need to have the proper license.
- This position will include testing and review of previous employment record for substance abuse. This position is subject to random drug and alcohol testing pursuant to Department of Transportation rules.

Physical Requirements:

SPECIAL NOTES: Candidates that get hired will be required to attend special training before the season starts. If training is not attended candidate will not be able to start working snowstorms until they pass the training and competency assessments of the information. - Must have experience in operating a backhoe and/or plow and digging around utilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 or more years of experience operating small plows to large plows (RT 115 Quad track plow up to John Deere 950 with Bron plow units 100 -250 in size).
- Heavy equipment operator experience and any applicable licensure.
- OQ Certification preferred.
- DOT Certified Flagger training.
- CDL Class A license.(Preferred)
