The Schedule:

More specifically, it is an instructor's responsibility to manage and direct all duties related to the operation of a Soccer Shots session, including, but not limited to, the following:
Preparation:

Maintains equipment in proper condition and arrives on time to set up field for session
Coaching:

The job description above is a part-time position requiring fewer than 30 hours of work per week. Key Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of the track & field program, including planning practices, managing meets, and supporting athletes across a variety of events.
Lead recruitment and retention efforts in collaboration with the Admissions Office and Athletic Department.
Support student-athlete development in alignment with the school's values and academic mission.
Partner with WRA's Sports Performance Coaches to implement strength and conditioning programs.
Coordinate with the Athletic Department on scheduling, home meet operations, and transportation.
Requirements

Prior coaching and/or competitive experience in track & field
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Experience coaching at the high school or collegiate level preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
* Previous interscholastic high school and/or youth baseball coaching experience.
* Appropriate C.P.R. and Pupil Activity Certification prior to beginning of season.
* Strong knowledge of basesball, fundamentals, rules, etc.
* Must be willing to commit to evening and weekend practices and events as dictated by the athletic season schedule.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
* Develop and implement the Boys Baseball program within the rules and regulations of the Akron Public Schools and the Ohio High School Athletic Association.
* Assist with the development and coordination of the season schedule.
* Recruit and generate interest in students joining the basesball program.
* Develop conditioning and training programs; implement safety measures as necessary and related to the baseball program.
* Organize and manage practice sessions, etc. ensure safety of student athletes at all times;
* Management of selected coaching staff, ensuring that assigned personnel adhere to guidelines and regulations that pertain to the athletic program;
* Implement and monitor student athlete academic progress; conduct study tables, study sessions, etc. as needed.
* Complete transportation requests according to established procedures, coordinate transportation for away games, events, etc.
* Monitor eligibility of student athletes involved in the baseball program;
* Assist student athletes with college recruitment and scholarship opportunities as applicable;
* Coordinates the use of the practice facilities and equipment where applicable;
* Attends appropriate workshops and clinics as necessary to remain abreast of current procedures and requirements;
* Reports to the Athletic Director and Principal.

General Description:

Essential Functions:
Perform and is directly responsible for the routine maintenance and repair of the building and its equipment plus all phases of housekeeping duties.
Develop and ensure proper function of work, inspection, maintenance and cleaning schedules with the cooperation of the principal and/or designee.
Maintain a clean, safe and neat boiler room (if applicable).
Remove snow, ice, debris from walks, steps and entry ways.
Help unload trucks, receive, check and store supplies.
Perform required tasks such as sweeping, mopping floors, finishing floors, emptying and cleaning waste receptacles, trash and pencil sharpeners, refilling towel and soap dispensers and toilet tissue, removing cobwebs, cleaning windows, cleaning all chalkboards, cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, dusting and polishing furniture and woodwork as necessary.
Keep buildings in a neat and presentable fashion and play areas neat and clean (inside and outside).
Regulate heat, ventilation and air conditioning systems (if applicable) to provide temperatures appropriate to the season and ensure economical usage of fuel, water and electricity.
Maintain the necessary supplies and equipment to perform custodial tasks.
Clean and maintain custodial equipment and materials.
Assist in keeping the school yard mowed and maintained in a neat and well-kept fashion.
Report areas that need special maintenance or cleaning to the head custodian. Assist in moving and arranging furniture and equipment.
Make minor repairs to building, furniture, equipment, etc. and report the need for other repairs to the head custodian.
Replenish supplies in restrooms; change ballasts and light bulbs.
Cooperate with other staff members.
Assist lunchroom personnel in the housekeeping duties of the kitchen and cafeteria including the removal of refuse.
Complete reports and forms as required.
Comply with local laws and procedures for the storage and disposal of trash, rubbish and waste.
Clean building during the summer under the direction of the head custodian and the building principal.
Problems of a custodial nature are to be first heard by the head custodian; if unresolved, then the principal, etc.
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
Serve as a role model for students in how to conduct themselves as citizens and as responsible, intelligent human beings.
Help instill in students the belief in and practice of ethical principles and democratic values.
Conduct other duties related to the custodian's duties as assigned by the head custodian and/or principal.

Summary The primary purpose of this position is to coordinate and organize a variety of programs related to the Family Self-Sufficiency program. The incumbent assists residents with becoming self-sufficient and economically independent by determining the community's needs and providing useful resources and services. Education and/or Experience A Bachelor's Degree in social services, public administration, or related field. Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred from an accredited institution of higher learning in counseling, social work, or related field.
Previous experience or training in human services coaching, case management, community health work, social work, or equivalent is required.
Experience in working with low-income families is required. Experience providing 1:1 mentoring, coaching, and goal setting, specifically around goals related to self-sufficiency is a plus.
Experience and/or willingness to complete home visits or work with families in community settings required.
Cultural competency and sensitivity with groups and individuals representing a variety of needs, abilities, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
Knowledge or expertise in Motivational Interviewing is a plus.
Knowledge of principles of assessment and evaluation, service coordination, case management and/or social work, and advocacy to initiate/coordinate service delivery and follow-up services.
Basic knowledge of income stability, workforce development, health and wellness, education and human services. Connections to community resources and institutions is a plus.
Demonstrates initiative and motivation when working independently with participants, data entry, and with projects.
Strong time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
Excellent computer skills, including data entry (Microsoft Office Word, Access, PowerPoint, and Excel; Google Office Suite). Previous experience utilizing Salesforce systems is a plus.
Ability to work collaboratively with partners, colleagues, and participants.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Work is performed primarily in the Hope Zone geography (Northwest Dayton). Some local travel is required for meetings, community engagement, and required presentations. Longer distance travel may be required for necessary trainings. Normal office hours are 9am - 5pm, Monday through Friday. Some evening or weekend hours will be required.

This position provides a variety of recovery-oriented services to clients who have self-identified as desiring peer supports, in order to promote greater independence, community integration and recovery from addiction and/or mental illness.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
Must be certified as a Peer Specialist at time of hire or within the first 6 months. Must be a self-identified person currently or formerly receiving mental health services; or a self-identified person in recovery from substance abuse disorder.
May not currently receive clinical services at OneEighty.
If in recovery must have two years of continuous sobriety.
Must have a valid Ohio Driver License and maintain a driving record that allows the individual to be insurable with the insurance company providing OneEighty's vehicle insurance.
Must be certified in CPR and First Aid or able to attain certification.
Must be trained in administering Narcan.

Assistant Football Coach - Quarterbacks

The Assistant Football Coach will assist the head coach in organization, planning and directing all aspects of our Division I football program. The assistant coach will primarily instruct, train and coach the quarterbacks skills required along with possible coordinating responsibilities (dependent upon experience). This coach will instruct student-athletes for purposes of academic, social development, compliance requirements, along with safety and health considerations; will recruit quality student-athletes for the program, will assist with program leadership duties, including directing the coaching staff on the quarterbacks, team composition, competition strategies and peak performance; will engage in team operations, including travel and video analysis of play execution and game strategy; and will perform additional duties related to coaching (e.g., compliance education, budget management, student housing, alumni relations, recruiting, student athlete academic development and other duties as assigned by head coach). UD Athletics employees are expected to comply with all laws, policies, rules and regulations governing the University, the Atlantic 10 Conference and the Pioneer Football League. The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate expertise in all aspects of coaching student-athletes and a commitment to the highest ideals of leadership, sportsmanship and academics. This coach will be proficient with DVSport Video Software or similar programs and will be competent with the use of social media for recruiting and program promotion purposes.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Experience playing or coaching the quarterback position at the collegiate or professional level

- Able to successfully demonstrate examples of developing and maintaining interpersonal relationships
- Valid drivers license with low risk driving record and be able to be insured by the university
Preferred Qualifications:

- Successful experience with collegiate football recruiting
- Track record of successfully coaching quarterbacks at the collegiate level.

Job Summary: Baldwin Wallace University seeks a dynamic and visionary leader to serve as the inaugural Head Women's Flag Football Coach. This coach will launch and lead BW's 29th varsity sport beginning in 2026. The position oversees all aspects of the women's flag football program, including recruitment and retention of student-athletes, practice planning, game strategy, skill development, academic monitoring, and the creation of a competitive and positive team culture. The head coach will play a critical role in building the program's foundation and ensuring it reflects the mission and values of Baldwin Wallace University and NCAA Division III. This is a full-time, exempt position within Athletics.
Essential Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities: The following outlines the essential functions of the position and is not to be considered a detailed description of all duties inherent in the position.
Lead all aspects of the women's flag football program, including coaching, player development, and competitive performance.
Recruit and retain student-athletes who will thrive academically, athletically, and socially at BW.
Design and execute practice plans, game strategies, and player training programs.
Promote a team culture focused on integrity, personal growth, and student-athlete well-being.
Ensure compliance with all institutional, Ohio Athletic Conference, and NCAA Division III rules and regulations.
Manage the program's operating budget, equipment needs, and team travel.
Collaborate with athletic training, strength and conditioning, compliance, and academic support staff to enhance the student-athlete experience.
Monitor and support student-athletes' academic and personal progress

Qualifications (required):
Bachelor's degree.
Ability to recruit and mentor student-athletes in a manner consistent with NCAA Division III philosophy.
Previous collegiate playing or coaching experience in flag football, football or a closely related sport.
Ability to lead, guide and be a positive role model for student-athletes
Ability to follow directions, be organized, and carry out assignments effectively
Understanding of NCAA Division III, Ohio Athletic Conference and Baldwin Wallace University rules, regulations and guidelines
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse environment
Must be able to travel, and possess and maintain a valid driver's license
Qualifications (preferred):
Master's degree.
Previous collegiate coaching experience.
Demonstrated success in recruiting and player development
Experience building or assisting with the launch of a new sport program.
