You will own social performance end-to-end, from idea generation and execution to optimization based on real-time data, while ensuring the brand is consistently and clearly represented across the majority of our content. This role demands high ownership and a builder mindset, blending strategy, execution, and leadership of a growing social media team. As the Instagram foundation is strengthened, you'll thoughtfully expand the brand into additional platforms to support long-term growth. You'll report directly to the Creative Director and collaborate closely with creative, performance marketing, and decision science teams to ensure social drives measurable business impact. This role goes far beyond managing workflows. It requires a hands-on leader who can step in, take full ownership, and drive results with minimal guidance. What You'll Do: At TopDog, every touchpoint is a performance channel-and design is how we turn attention into action. You will: Ownership and Strategy Own the company's organic social presence end-to-end, with Instagram as the primary platform. Develop and evolve social strategy based on performance, trends, and business goals Stay ahead of platform changes, best practices, and emerging formats. Content and Execution Independently generate, test, and iterate original content ideas. Execute hands-on when needed, including editing and solving production issues. Maintain and execute a content calendar with speed and consistency. Influencer and Growth Build and manage influencer, creator, and brand partnerships aligned with company goals. Identify, source, and partner with creators and viral pages that fit the brand. Performance and Optimization Analyze content performance regularly and make fast, data-driven improvements. Clearly communicate social performance through insights, recommendations, and next steps.. Collaboration and Brand Work closely with creative, performance marketing, and decision science teams to align content with campaigns and tests. Ensure consistent brand voice, tone, and visuals across all content. What You Bring: Proven experience owning and scaling a company's Instagram account with hundreds of thousands of followers, driving consistent growth and engagement through clear social strategy and execution. Demonstrated ability to originate, test, and execute high-performing content ideas independently, not just manage or assign work. Expert understanding of short-form video performance, including hooks, pacing, storytelling, visuals, formats, and platform trends. Strong hands-on editing skills, with the ability to step in and produce content end-to-end when needed. Deep experience in analyzing social performance metrics and making fast, data-driven decisions to improve results. Proven success operating in high ownership, low oversight environments, taking full responsibility for outcomes. Track record of fast execution, adaptability, and decisive leadership in dynamic, fast-moving teams. Experience building and managing influencer, creator, and UGC strategies that expand reach, credibility, and trust.
