Job Description Overview: USF Youth Experiences is seeking a Federal Work Study (FWS) student to serve as a SocialMedia Assistant for the Spring, summer, and fall semesters. This is a creative, detail-oriented role focused on developing engaging digital content and supporting the socialmedia presence of USF Youth Experiences.
The SocialMedia Assistant will support the day-to-day management of YXP's socialmedia platforms and collaborate closely with the creative, communications, and marketing teams to promote year-round youth programs, events, and initiatives. This internship sits on the business side of product development within USTA Community Tennis. Over the course of the program, you will learn how core products, including Leagues, Tournaments, Ratings, and Rankings, are designed, managed, and evolved from a digital and operational perspective. You will help define and implement strategies that drive product adoption, engagement, and growth across the tennis ecosystem. Develop and implement outreach strategies targeting new players and facilities
Create engaging digital content to promote Tennis on USTA Flex
Streamline onboarding processes for new players and facilities
Collaborate with the marketing team to design and execute promotional campaigns
Electronic Line Calling (ELC) Logistics Tracking
Assist with logistics and coordination of ELC equipment and staffing
Track and analyze usage and performance data
Work with tournament directors and officials to support seamless ELC integration
SmartAccess / Serve Tennis Module Analysis
Analyze data related to SmartAccess and Serve Tennis modules (Court Booking, Programming, High School)
Support long-term financial modeling and adoption forecasting for SmartAccess
Identify user trends, gaps, and opportunities to improve platform engagement
Program details:
8-week program from June 9 through August 11
Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM ET
Hybrid role requiring 3 days per week on-site at our Orlando office.
Compensation: $16.00 per hour
Who You Are

Responsibilities
The wordsmith. The hashtag creator. Copywriters are the cunning linguists who write what you read, hear, and see. Also, the art director's partner in crime-professionally speaking, that is.
The Day-to-Day: Copywriters are responsible for writing copy on a variety of mediums; socialmedia, blog posts, newsletters, brochures, product packaging, email marketing campaigns, etc. Prior to copywriting for a client, it is expected that copywriters research their subject matter, follow AP guidelines when writing copy, and develop their own tone of voice. Copy revisions are also a part of the copywriting process, so staying close to email/communication updates from their clients is crucial.
