The Social Media Intern will work with the team to maintain and grow Girls Who Code's social media channels. Overview
Adoptions Together and FamilyWorks Together is looking to host a Social Media Intern in a remote role for Fall 2022 for 10-20 hours per week. The person in this role will work closely with our Marketing Specialist and will be responsible for helping to monitor and manage our social media accounts, post content, and brainstorm campaign ideas.
Education, Experience, and Preferred Skills
- 3rd or 4th year bachelor's level college student majoring in communication, marketing, PR, or a related area of study.
- Familiar with multi-social post through programs such as Hootsuite or TweetDeck.
- Comfortable working with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and Canva.
- Experience monitoring and reporting analytics for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
- Able to work independently and take initiative.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Develop a strong understanding of our brand and organization to accurately share and represent through social media.
- Monitor and manage Adoptions Together's social media accounts including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
