This is a hybrid position. **JOB DESCRIPTION:** **Social Media:** * Support the social media team in driving brand awareness and encouraging engagement * Film content for the @susiecakesbakery Instagram and TikTok accounts, ensuring that it is high-quality and on-brand * Keep an eye out for the latest social media trends and propose ideas about how we can show up on these platforms * Work independently to produce regular content by coming up with video concepts, filming all original video assets, and editing videos to completion (on a mobile device is fine) * BONUS: Comfortable being on camera (to capitalize on trending audio) **Community Engagement:** * Support the marketing team with local events, deliveries, gifting initiatives, and other opportunities in the Oklahoma City area * Engage with local community groups to build brand awareness (such as student groups or charities) * Keep up with local happenings and propose ideas of new ways to engage throughout the city **QUALIFICATIONS:** * Ideal candidate can quickly commute to a SusieCakes Bakery (within 30 min of Claussen Curve) * Must have reliable transportation * Passion for SusieCakes, and strong interest in the social and digital space * Significant experience as an Instagram and TikTok user with a deep understanding of the social media ecosystem: trends, hashtags, music usage, functionalities, guidelines, and platform updates * History of creating content that performed well and drove engagement (whether for a personal account or a brand) * Superior verbal, written, copy editing, and proofreading skills * Creative, innovative personality that is always thinking outside of the box * Strong attention to detail, responsible, and reliable * Positive representation of company values and brand identity * Proactive go-getter, independent worker, and effective communicator ***Please note this is a hybrid position* ***Please submit your social media accounts and or videos for review* **PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:** * Able to sit for long periods of time to research trends * Able to use a computer for long periods of time * Able to make and receive phone calls and respond to emails, chats or text messages * Able to walk, kneel and reach overhead * Able to stand for extended periods of time * Must be able to occasionally lift, move and carry up to 50 pounds * Must be able to travel to bakeries close by **EDUCATION:** A high school diploma or GED required
