This role will be a central player in the Marketing and Communications team, helping define and execute strategies that increase awareness, build community and drive prospective student engagement. The Social Media Lead position is a full-time, 12-month position that provides targeted outreach to increase engagement and brand awareness for Delta State University. The Social Media Lead will oversee all institutional accounts (including Instagram, Facebook, X/Twitter, and LinkedIn), partner with a small content team on reels and stories, collaborate with departments across campus and produce reports tied to institutional goals. The position reports to the Chief Marketing Officer and works closely with a growing team of creatives, freelancers, and cross-departmental partners.
