As a Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, Government and more.

Available Schedules

Saturday - Wednesday 9:30 PM - 6:00 AM (Grave Shift)

Monday - Friday 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM (Day Shift)

Pay Rate

$21.05 / hr

Responsibilities:

* Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
* Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner
* Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

Principal Specialist, Corporate Social Responsibility

This role could be hybrid in Washington D.C, Boston, MA, or Hartford, CT.

We are seeking a corporate social responsibility (CSR) specialist to support the Company's philanthropic, volunteer and community-facing initiatives. This professional will be responsible for supporting strategic CSR activities to achieve social impact outcomes, as well as developing superior internal and external CSR-related communications materials.

Primary Responsibilities:

+ Support social impact programs and initiatives that further the Company's CSR objectives in the following focus areas: Lifelong Learning, Honoring Service, Supporting Communities.

+ Work closely with key community stakeholders including RTX employees; non-profit, non-governmental organizations; customers; and other partners at local, national, and global levels to support the company's CSR strategy and business goals.

+ Responsible for implementing employee volunteer programs, leading key volunteer engagement opportunities with signature community partners, and supporting RTX's Global Month of Service.

+ Prepare and support communications plans and content for social impact programs, internally & externally.

+ Support impact measurement and evaluation activities.

+ Cultivate and manage relationships with key nonprofit partners.

+ Develop reports and presentations related to grantmaking, volunteerism, and other CSR programs as requested.

+ Collaborate closely with cross-functional colleagues in Communication, Talent, DEI, Government Relations and business CSR teams to drive alignment in CSR objectives.

+ Analyze and evaluate CSR programs and partnerships to ensure alignment to global strategy and make recommendations to better refine partnership impact and effectiveness

Required Qualifications:

+ Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience

+ Minimum 3 years of experience in social impact, corporate citizenship, volunteer management, or community relations.

+ Proven experience in program management, volunteerism, communication campaigns, nonprofit relations and grants management.

+ Ability to build positive relationships in the community and has a successful track record of engaging employees or the public on large scale initiatives.

+ Strong writing skills and attention to detail.

+ Motivated self-starter who meets deadlines, maintains steady performance under pressure and has the ability to multi-task.

+ Must have interest and passion in social impact programs.

+ Requires advanced knowledge of work area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. May have practical knowledge of project management. Practical to substantial knowledge of RTX projects, programs or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work.
