Full-Time Crisis Intervention Specialist The Careline crisis hotline team provides therapeutic support for Alaskans accessing the statewide crisis and suicide hotline. This position will implement policies, protocols, and services designed to assist individuals who are in crisis, including those considering dying by suicide, those concerned about someone else with suicidal behavior by providing emotional support, crisis response, and intervention. This position also provides support, information, and referral for non-crisis calls. Services are provided via phone calls, text messaging, or chat. As a member of the Careline team, you will interact with clients and staff in a respectful and empowering manner, exercise consistent and dependable attendance, and attend all mandatory staff meetings. At Careline, all staff present themselves professionally and maintain confidentiality when necessary. We are most interested in finding the best candidate for the job, and that candidate may come from a less traditional background.
