Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness and quality of academic instruction and behavioral support services provided to students, ensuring exceptional outcomes. Supporting Spectrum staff by modeling, reinforcing, and enhancing instructional best practices to promote student growth aligned with Individualized Education Plan (IEP) goals. Implementing evidence-based interventions by applying scientifically proven behavioral and educational strategies, promoting positive outcomes in academic, social, emotional, and independent functioning. Providing crisis management intervention and support for students exhibiting aggressive or self-injurious behavior and developing strategies to reduce the need for 1:1 staffing. Collaborating closely with on-site education teams to collect and analyze data on student behavior, monitor student progress, and ensure appropriate intervention responsiveness and consistent progress toward goals. Conducting regular quality checks for each campus within assigned region at the student, staff, classroom, and site levels; making recommendations for improvement based on analysis of data. Supporting the development of on-site teams within assigned the area through delivery of training on behavioral assessment, intervention, positive behavior supports, data collection, crisis management, and other relevant topics. Providing guidance and supervision to staff members within assigned region pursuing BACB certification (RBT, BCaBA, BCBA), as agreed with the Program Director or VP of Behavior Services. Engaging in multi-disciplinary on-site and regional team meetings to discuss behavioral needs and contribute to the development of comprehensive support strategies. Monitoring and ensuring adherence of all campuses to Department of Education regulations and internal standards for educational and behavioral service is maintained within assigned area. Maintaining accurate and detailed records of assessments, interventions, progress, and compliance activities. Providing operational support to all schools in the assigned area, focusing on academic achievement, behavioral support, staff retention, and development. Performing additional duties or special projects as assigned to support organizational goals and student success. ‖ Qualifications Required: Master's degree or higher in applied behavior analysis, behavioral therapy, special education or a closely related field of study. Licensed currently or in the process of obtaining a board-certified behavior analyst (BCBA) credential. Licensed currently or in the process of obtaining an education specialist or special education instruction credential preferred. Hold currently or have the ability to obtain a valid CA state driver's license. Ability to obtain and maintain certification in company approved crisis management (PCM) training. We're seeking an experienced Commercial Counsel to join our growing legal team and serve as a strategic partner to our rapidly expanding enterprise sales organization. In this high-impact role, you'll drive complex commercial negotiations that fuel our growth, working closely with our sales teams to close sophisticated technology agreements with enterprise customers across diverse industries. You'll play a critical role in scaling our commercial legal processes while navigating the evolving landscape of AI-powered development tools and ensuring our customers can confidently deploy Replit's platform in their organizations. What You'll Do Drive Enterprise Deals: Serve as the lead legal advisor for complex, high-value enterprise sales transactions, working directly with our Account Executives and customer legal teams to negotiate and close sophisticated software agreements Navigate AI & Technology Compliance: Help enterprise customers understand and navigate the and regulatory implications of adopting AI-powered development tools, addressing data privacy, security, and compliance requirements across various industries Build Scalable Frameworks: Design and implement contract playbooks, template agreements, and streamlined processes that enable our sales team to move quickly while maintaining legal rigor as we scale Risk Management: Identify, analyze, and proactively manage complex commercial and legal risks while maintaining deal velocity in our fast-paced, high-growth environment Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Security, and Privacy teams to ensure our commercial offerings align with product capabilities and regulatory requirements Strategic Advisory: Provide strategic guidance to leadership on commercial legal matters, emerging AI regulations, and market trends affecting developer tools and enterprise software adoption Customer Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with enterprise customer legal teams, becoming a trusted advisor who helps facilitate smooth adoption of Replit's platform You Might Be a Good Fit If You Have Legal Foundation: JD from an accredited law school and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar Commercial Experience: 5-7 years of relevant legal experience supporting enterprise software sales and complex commercial transactions, preferably at high-growth technology companies Technology Focus: Strong background in SaaS agreements, software licensing, and technology transactions, with bonus points for experience with AI/ML tools, developer platforms, or cloud infrastructure Deal Velocity: Proven track record of successfully closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals in fast-paced environments while balancing legal risk with business objectives Business Acumen: Exceptional business judgment and ability to provide practical, solutions-oriented legal advice that enables (rather than blocks) commercial success Communication Skills: Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities, with experience presenting to and influencing C-level executives and enterprise customer stakeholders Startup DNA: Thrives in ambiguous, rapidly evolving environments where you'll need to build processes from the ground up and adapt quickly to changing priorities Collaboration: Collaborative mindset with a track record of building strong cross-functional relationships and supporting high-velocity sales processes Bonus Points If You Have In-House Experience: Previous in-house counsel experience at technology companies, particularly those serving enterprise customers or developer audiences AI/Developer Tools: Experience with AI, machine learning, or developer platform companies, including understanding of the unique legal considerations around code generation and AI-assisted development Industry Knowledge: Experience working with enterprise customers in regulated industries or understanding of compliance requirements across different sectors Scale Experience: Experience supporting sales teams through hypergrowth phases, including building legal processes that scale with rapid revenue expansion This is a full-time role that can be held from our Foster City, CA office.
