Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services Coordinator (PRSC) Responsibilities:
As a psychiatric rehabilitation services coordinator (PRSC), you will review and assist the resident in understanding the treatment plan.
You will prepare and assist the resident with active participation in the treatment plan review.
You will provide and/or coordinate the delivery of the psychiatric rehabilitation services programs.
You will re-evaluate the residents on a quarterly basis.
Requirements:

Bachelors or Master's degree in human service profession (i.e. socialwork, psychology, sociology, counseling psychology).
Demonstrated sensitivity, ability and skills in working with and understanding the needs of the residents, family members, staff members and personnel from community agencies.
Demonstrated familiarity and knowledge of currents trends in the rehabilitation of the mentally ill.
The ability to present concise, meaningful written reports and articulate the social/psychological needs of the residents.

The Crisis Recovery Center

The CRC will help residents de-escalate, stabilize, and connect to community resources catered to their individual mental health and substance use treatment needs. The CRC serves as an alternative to hospital emergency departments and simplifies access to crisis care for all individuals, families, and first responders. Plan the well intervention activities and review and validation when completed, and for providing solution for wells with integrity issues with support of well completion specialist.

Compensation
At Tailwinds, we believe every full-time licensed clinician deserves to earn at least six figures (plus benefits) on an annual basis within two years or less. Compensation is based on license type, licensure status, and tenure with the practice, and is calculated per billable clinical hour (i.e., hours billed to the client or insurance). Full-time clinicians are expected to maintain an average caseload of 25 clients per week and are eligible for benefits.

What Will I Bring:

Northwestern University Mesulam Center for Cognitive Neurology and Alzheimer's Disease (Mesulam Center) is seeking an exceptional socialworker who demonstrates a pronounced interest in working with persons with neurocognitive disorders and their families in a diversity of roles. The SocialWorker will work as a team member to provide clinical care for persons living with dementia and their families and achieve the goals and objectives of the Outreach, Recruitment and Community Engagement (ORE) Core, the Miller Family Buddy Program, in addition to other psychosocial initiatives.
Specifically, the SocialWorker will provide clinical socialwork services for persons living with dementia and their caregiving families in the Neurobehavior and Memory Clinic of Northwestern Medical Group; contribute to the recruitment and retention of research participants that meet Center research priorities; manage and facilitate monthly care partner support groups; and participate in the coordination and planning of an annual scientific conference. In addition, they will participate in the preparation and review of annual progress reports and competitive renewal for the NIA and other funding agencies.
The Mesulam Center is a multi-departmental component of the Feinberg School of Medicine. We specialize in the clinical care and scientific study of neurological diseases that interfere with cognition and behavior. Areas of emphasis include age-related memory, language-based and behavioral dementias. We are focused on Alzheimer's disease, Primary Progressive Aphasia and Frontotemporal Dementia. Our three interacting missions are to investigate the causes and clinical characteristics of neurodegenerative diseases, to ensure that our patients and families are the beneficiaries of the latest research advances, and to prepare future scientists and clinicians in our field.
Specific Responsibilities:
* Provide clinical socialwork services to patients and families of the Northwestern Medicine Neurobehavior and Memory Clinic and center research participants. Complete psychosocial assessments and provide education, counseling and linkage to appropriate community services. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary team of behavioral neurologists, neuropsychologists, psychiatrists, and other clinicians through weekly clinical rounds and patient care discussions.
