Community Memorial Healthcare is hiring full-time master level behavioral health staff with excellent communication skills, clinical acumen, and passion for working with youth and their families. These positions play a key role in addressing behavioral health needs in primary care settings, improving access to services for children and their caregivers, and reducing health disparities among pediatric and vulnerable populations.
The Pediatric Behavioral Health Interventionist (BHI) supports the implementation and coordination of the Collaborative Care for Youth Innovation grant. This position operates within a Collaborative Care Model (CoCM) and Primary Care Behavioral Model (PCBH), integrating behavioral health into pediatric and young adult primary care settings. The staff provides screening, assessment, brief intervention, care coordination, and referral for patients with behavioral, developmental, or psychosocial needs. The role emphasizes early identification, family-centered support, and seamless transitions to appropriate care across child, adolescent, and young adult populations (ages 0-26 years).
The BHI staff is a core member of the collaborative care team. As a member of this team, you will work closely with primary care providers (PCPs), medical staff, psychiatric Interventionists, and other behavioral health professionals at Community Memorial Health to deliver comprehensive care that integrates mental and physical health. This position is based in Community Memorial Healthcare's outpatient primary care clinics and does not include hospital or inpatient responsibilities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Maintains an active License with the Board of Behavioral Sciences as a SocialWorker in the State of California and eligibility to serve as a field placement instructor and provide supervision of socialwork interns participating in the student training program. JOB PURPOSE:
The Training SocialWorker supports the mission of the Child & Family Center by supporting the practicum and internship programs in conjunction with other managers and supervisors. Provides comprehensive and culturally competent individual, group, and family therapy in the clinic, school, home, or community. Uses evidence-based practices, participates in treatment planning, and provides parent education programs within their scope of practice as designated by Child & Family Center as well as their licensing or registering body.
Training SocialWorkers can function comfortably in a team environment or independently and relates well to co-workers and County representatives. This position requires flexibility and the ability to manage time and multiple tasks with little supervision. The individual in this position must be able to assume a wide range of responsibilities, provide timely responses to requests and deadlines and works well under pressure.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
TRAINING PROGRAM:
Provides supervision to training program students, including socialwork trainees, as deemed appropriate and within supervision requirements to comply with the Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) and Board of Psychology (BOP).
Serves as a field placement instructor responsible for supervision of MSW student/intern(s) participating in C&FC's student training program.
Work with each MSW trainee to develop a Learning Agreement that takes into account the educational assessment of the student, the education goals, core or advanced competencies, and the related practice behaviors of the student's School of SocialWork. This serves as a guide for ongoing supervision, identifying learning opportunities, and for final evaluation.
Provides in-service training to psychology interns and practicum students on mental health topics, as required.
Participates in recruiting and screening psychology interns and practicum students.
Provides support with designing, implementing, and reviewing internship and practicum policies and procedures, as well as orientation, training, and supervision materials.
Coordinates development, tracking, announcement, and publication of training and related materials (e.g., policies and procedures).
Maintains training records in compliance with contractual obligations.
CLINICAL SERVICES:
Manage all information containing sensitive/confidential content with utmost discretion and adherence to all relevant policies and procedures. Maintain confidentiality for all sensitive matters.
Meet position requirements regarding client service hours, both billable (for reimbursable services) and non-billable. Direct billable service time expectation is 13 hours per week.
Complete documentation and assignments within program timelines and Agency service standards.
Conduct strength-based, culturally competent therapeutic services, consisting of individual, family and/or group therapy as well as individualized intakes and/or other assessments.
Schedule clients according to client need and availability; Be available for evening appointments if clinically indicated. Provide services in the office or in the field, consistent with contractual, programmatic, and funding source requirements.

POSITION SUMMARY:
Holt International finds and supports permanent, loving families for children who are orphaned, abandoned or at serious risk of separation from their family. The master's level socialworker represents Holt in their community and ensures the successful adjustment of child and family by conducting an assessment of the family and providing appropriate services throughout the adoption process. The master's level socialworkerworks cooperatively with families, the Branch Office and Adoption Teams headquartered in Eugene, Oregon. Note: The Adoption SocialWorker is primarily a home-based position. The Adoption SocialWorker position requires travel (most often by car) to different locations within the assigned area to complete the essential functions of the position.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (to be completed within timeframes outlined by the Branch Director):
1. Determines a family's ability and capacity to parent an adopted child by conducting pre-home study meetings as requested, reviewing and assessing agency-requested information, evaluating the family's knowledge and perceptions of adoption, teaching adoption education courses as needed, and conducting psycho-social assessments of family members.
2. Contributes to the delivery of high-quality adoption services by producing adoption home studies and post placement reports that comply with provided guidelines and meet current agency, state, country and USCIS requirements.
3. Provides support and case management of all assigned families by maintaining quarterly contacts throughout process, communicating information to the family, referring family to appropriate community support systems when necessary and documenting all correspondence in Holt's database.
4. Prepares family for travel and assists with post placement adjustment by providing training and identifying resources available to help meet the child's needs and aid in the child's adjustment to the family. Conduct home visits as required by state law and country program guidelines, assist in early identification of problematic issues, and make a determination regarding the stability and appropriateness of the placement.
5. Assures child's physical and emotional well-being and eases family's adjustment by providing counseling to the child and family and/or helping arrange for counseling with a clinician outside the agency if needed. In case of an adoption disruption or dissolution, maintain relationship with family to ensure transition plan is developed that meets the child's needs. Assist child and family with transition of child to new placement.
6. Contributes to public knowledge about Holt and supports Holt programs by participating in activities arranged by Holt including picnics or parent groups, representing Holt at adoption meetings, coalitions and organizations, and performing other outreach activities as appropriate.
7. Maintains professional knowledge by attending relevant seminars and course work, keeping informed about State regulations, legislation, adoption issues and child-related issues overseas; maintaining license, if required.
8. Contributes to a positive, productive work environment by meeting attendance and punctuality guidelines and pre-arranging time off with appropriate notice; treating all people with dignity and respect; and exhibiting good listening and comprehension skills including giving and welcoming feedback.
9. Contributes to team effort by working cooperatively with Branch and Eugene offices, respectfully responding to all communication from Branch and Eugene in a timely manner. Providing back-up to colleagues as needed and supporting branch office in meeting objectives.

Requirements
KNOWLEDGE: Master's degree in socialwork or a related field strongly preferred, five years experience in a social service setting, and state license (where applicable). What we are looking for:

Qualifications
EXPERIENCE:
A minimum of 6 months of exposure to/experience with children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) or other related developmental disabilities. Some examples include working with typically developing children in a group setting (children with demonstrated deficits or challenging behavior preferred), having a family member with ASD, a neighbor with a developmental disability, or even volunteer work in a classroom with a child with ASD, etc.
EDUCATION:
Degree not required, but must have at least completed some college coursework or be currently enrolled at an accredited college or university. We have a preference to programs related to early childhood education, psychology, nursing or related field.

Job Overview
Our SUD Counselor Internship program is specifically for students enrolled in a Drug and Alcohol Studies Program through an accredited educational program. During their time in our programs, interns are able to observe the daily activities of a residential or outpatient SUD treatment program. Interns have an opportunity to shadow certified SUD Counselors and/or LPHAs during assessment, treatment planning, groups, classes, counseling sessions, and case management sessions.
