They implement individualized therapy programs designed to restore, reinforce, and enhance performance. In addition, the Physical Therapist instructs, educates and trains patients and caregivers in those skills and functions essential for promoting independence and productivity, in order to diminish or correct pathology. They direct activities to promote and maintain health. This position provides a flexible schedule and work environment in various settings. RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. As necessary or applicable, supervision of Physical Therapy Assistants, temporary licensees, students and support personnel in accordance with state licensure requirements and professional standards. 2. Responsible for adherence to department and patient treatment schedule, timely clinical and billing documentation requirements as well as work related meetings. 3. Attends and contributes to patient care, staffing conferences and other related meetings. 4. Makes referrals to other disciplines and agencies in order to address the comprehensive needs of the patient. 5. Consults with other members of the rehabilitation team to select the most appropriate therapeutic regimen consistent with the needs and capabilities of each patient. 6. Adapts program and/or plan of care according to the needs of the individual patient. 7. Promotes a safe environment and enforces the elimination of fire and safety hazards. 8. Orders supplies and equipment as necessary. 9. Cleans, maintains, identifies, and reports the need for repair of equipment as necessary. 10. Puts patient service first: ensures that patients and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere which recognizes the individuals' needs and rights. 11.Screens, examines and evaluates patients, including history, systems review, and application of appropriate tests and measures, synthesis information and interprets examination findings in order to establish a diagnosis, identify impairments, determine the predicted level of improvement and the time required to achieve it, identify precautions/contraindications and design and plan of care. Develops appropriate treatment goals and methods in collaboration with the patient and caregivers, implements the physical therapy treatment plan, and completes all related documentation and record keeping regarding these services. By taking care of all the new client marketing and administrative heavy-lifting, we allow providers at Rula to focus on what they do best; helping clients get better.
We are expanding our network of licensed providers in West Virginia. Providers in the Rula network are 1099 contractors, have no minimum caseloads and complete schedule autonomy.
Compensation Details
For a limited time get an extra $1000 when you join our network and see your first client
LCSW, LPC, LICSW: $80 per hourly session (53-minutes)
Licensed Psychologist: $90 per hourly session (53-minutes)
Guaranteed payment every two weeks via direct deposit
Payment protection for no-shows, late cancellations, & denied claims
*As of 10/09/2024, we've increased our standard rate for all therapists licensed in West Virginia. The rate for LCPs has increased to $90. LCSW, LPC, LMFT rates have increased to $80.

Therapists will receive their $1000 in their first bi-weekly payment. The Social Worker provides ongoing support and expertise through comprehensive assessment, planning, implementation, and overall evaluation of individual patients and family needs. The Social Worker will participate in the provision of bereavement services as needed.
Schedule: 32 hours per week - 4 days per week, 8-hour days generally from 9a-5p (days can be flexible but every other Thursday is needed for IDT meetings and must work some Fridays), on-call 1 weekend every two months, one holiday every other year.
Key Job Duties:
Comprehensively develop and continuously assess patients' plan of care as well as the psychosocial needs of the patient, family and caregivers
Provide supportive, educational, and crisis counseling as appropriate to patients and their families
Engage in ongoing communication with patients, families, facility staff and team members to expedite the plan of care
Coordinate and participate in patient and family care planning meetings
Develop and document a thorough care plan through collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. Ensure the plan is modified based on the patient's changing needs
Exhibit flexibility and creative problem solving for patients with complex psychosocial needs
Serve as a patient advocate. Enhance a collaborative relationship to maximize the patient's and family's ability to make informed decisions and be an active member of the interdisciplinary team
Serve as a resource and provide education to patient, family, facility staff, physicians, and professional staff relative to the psychosocial needs of patients and families at the end-of-life

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in social work or a Bachelor's degree in a human services field such as sociology, special education, rehabilitation, counseling or psychology required. Master of Social Work (MSW) degree preferred
College or university must be accredited by the Council on Social Work Education
One year of social work experience in a health care setting
Certified or licensed as a social worker by the State of Wisconsin
Valid Wisconsin Driver's License, reliable transportation, and proof of current automobile insurance coverage
