* Monitors and supervises adolescent residents in a residential substance abuse treatment setting to ensure a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment.
* Provides non-professional counseling and emotional support, participates in treatment team meetings, and assists with implementing individualized treatment plans.
* Documents resident behavior and incidents, maintains daily logs, and communicates observations to clinical staff to support treatment planning.
* Assists residents with daily living activities such as hygiene, chores, schoolwork, and group participation, modeling appropriate behavior and life skills.
* Provides crisis intervention and behavioral support, including de-escalation and, when necessary, implementing therapeutic holds in accordance with policy.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
The following experience and/or education is required to qualify for this position.
For GS-7: Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-6 grade level in the Federal service (obtained in either the private or public sector) performing the following type of work and/or tasks: Plan and carry out successive steps to handle behavioral problems in accordance with instructions, policies, previous training, or accepted practices within the interdisciplinary health care team; work with a multidisciplinary team (such as psychologists, nurses, social workers, and administrators) to ensure the safety and well-being of patients; facilitate group activities; recognize and respond appropriately to deviations from normal behavior; provide non-professional counseling to de-escalate aggressive or difficult behavior, or to help the patient/resident process a situation or incident.

One full year of graduate education directly related to the work of the position meets the requirement.
Equivalent combinations of education and experience are qualifying for all grade levels and positions for which both education and experience are acceptable.

* Developing, managing and monitoring social services functions at the regional level in regard to the implementation of child welfare, child protection and ICWA guidance and regulations that are shared by other program offices.
* Provides oversight and assumes responsibility for evaluating and recommending needed improvements to the automated and manual data systems used by human services programs for receiving and processing ICWA notices and tracking and maintaining tribal ICWA designated agent contact information.
* Interpret and develop human/social services programs and encourage full use of other appropriately related programs.

* Conduct on-site technical evaluation reviews for quality control in Tribally operated and private contract foster care programs.
* Provide training to Tribes; Tribal human/social/community services programs; other government agencies; internal employees; and other relevant stakeholders in the areas of child welfare, child protection services and ICWA compliance.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS: Degree: Social Work. Must fulfill all of the requirements for the MASTER'S DEGREE in social work in a school accredited by the Council on Social Work Education.
ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: In addition to meeting the basic entry level qualification requirements, applicants must have the following:
GS-09: I have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-7 grade level in the Federal service which involved applying professional knowledge of the principles and practices of social work; providing direct services to individuals and families, and groups; educating or providing instruction, training, consultation and/or advice on social work related questions and services; interprets and applies skills in the provision of human/social services program support to beneficiaries. GS-11: 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-9 grade level in the Federal service (obtained in either the public or private sector) which includes work involving applying practical knowledge of a wide range of social casework, family therapy, systems theory and community organization; direct provision of child welfare services, maintaining active agency participation in the varied advocacy and intervention programs and the coordination of and required cooperation with allied social services, health and other agencies; providing counseling services; developing and maintaining a formalized case management system which documents the workflow of case services with individual case plans; provides technical assistance on all aspects of social services programs and activities. Role Scope:
We are looking for a dynamic, service-oriented social worker who is passionate about supporting elderly persons in their journey. The social worker will work within a multidisciplinary care team led by a primary care provider to ensure whole-person, integrated care. Required Qualifications:
Master's degree in Social Work (MSW).
A minimum of two years experience working with the frail or elderly.
Previous experience coordinating and facilitating care conference meetings.
Proof of medical clearance for communicable diseases, including a TB test.
Proof of all immunizations are up to date.
Proof of current CPR/BLS certification required or requirement to obtain within 30 days of employment..

A Primary Social Skills Group Facilitator (Clinical Leader) designs and supervises the provision of evidence-based mental health services and programs for children with autism spectrum disorders and/or similar developmental disabilities in response to physician recommendations in home, school and/or other natural settings.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Adheres to CSD's Commitment to Quality Standards.
Designs and prepares curriculum for the social skill group participants that is appropriate to client goals, chronological age, functional age, and interests.
Facilitates social skill groups as well as providing direct supervision and support to Behavior Specialists who serve as the secondary facilitator for groups in excess of 4 clients.
Assures that the responsibilities, authorities, and accountabilities are defined and understood by each assigned Behavior Specialist. Evaluates performance of direct reports.
Projects calendar for clients at the beginning of the month and adds additional appointments as clients sign up for groups.
Maintains productivity margin assigned by supervisor. Productivity margins will be based on the needs of the organization and region (e.g., approximately 5.25 hours per billable day). Productivity margins should be composed of social skill group billing. To meet billable expectations, multiple groups need to be offered per day and at least one group on Saturday's. Attendance should be set to 4-8 clients per group (i.e., with the exception of when client cancellations occur). E-mails should be sent to all Bay Area RDs at the beginning of the month with offerings of group session dates/times so that clients can be added to the appropriate time slots. Productivity margins should be composed predominantly of social skill group hours; however, if productivity cannot be met, other types (e.g. MLS) of hours can be assigned.
Responsible for educating families on the importance of maintaining a consistent schedule with the number of hours that are clinically appropriate for the client. Additionally, is responsible for efficiently and effectively communicating CSD's policies to families.
Monitors family cancellations and offers them make-up sessions, as well as monitors second facilitator cancellations, and assists to find a replacement so that the session does not need to be canceled.
Maintains appropriate progress notes for group billing hours and converts hours on CSD's billing program by the conversion deadline.
Completes necessary documentation including session notes and data tracking during the session and renders the session by the conversion deadline. Gathers all caregiver signatures as required by the payor and CSD guidelines.
Meets at least once a month with CDs to ensure CD has all relevant information to write progress/discharge/transition reports and to discuss the current treatment plan, progress, family cancellations, and to address clinical concerns.
Maintains regular communication with Human Resources and the Regional Director regarding administrative concerns involving clients, Behavior Specialists, and/or Clinical Directors.
Remains current regarding new research, current trends, and developments related to autism, special education, and related fields.
Performs other duties as assigned. Attends staff meetings, in-services, training, and other meetings as requested.

Assess the psychosocial status of patients and families/caregivers related to the patient's terminal illness and environment and communicates findings to the registered nurse and other members of the interdisciplinary group
