Role and Team
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Advocate, Buyer Engagement, to join the ADESA Central Operations team. This role is crucial for connecting buyers with relevant marketing information, promoting active participation, and addressing diverse inventory and service needs across all ADESA platforms, with a strong emphasis on ADESA Clear. The Advocate will primarily conduct outbound outreach to a diverse portfolio of buyers, serving as an educator, customer service agent, and problem-solver to address concerns, provide value, and encourage continued purchasing activity.
Responsibilities
Make high-volume outbound calls to auction buyers
Utilize a consultative approach to educate buyers on the ADESA value proposition, highlighting its benefits and features while building rapport and addressing objections through active listening.
Encourage buyer participation across all of our ADESA platforms.
Ability to navigate multiple systems to serve customer needs and leverage technology to solve problems. (Salesforce experience a PLUS)
Utilize internal systems to understand buyer needs and document conversations in Salesforce.
Assist buyers with inventory needs and general inquiries.
Investigate and resolve root causes for decreased buying activity and buyer concerns.
Share feedback and insights on the buyer experience with internal teams like Arbitration and Customer Experience (CX).
Collaborate with the Arbitration and CX teams to address and resolve customer service issues.
Balance teamwork with individual accountability for achieving results.
Adapt quickly and positively to change, showing flexibility in a dynamic environment
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
Strong communication skills: Ability to quickly build rapport, apply a consultative approach, handle and overcome objections, and demonstrate curiosity through probing questions to understand buyer needs.
Ability to leverage data to support unique needs of the customer and consistently follow through with commitments.
High level of attention to detail, flexibility in adapting and adjusting to change, and ability to efficiently drive execution on tasks and projects.

Salesforce experience is a plus.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Substance Use Counselor is responsible and accountable for the delivery of contracted substance use disorder services in the facilities within the Navajo County Detention Center. Primary duties include the screening and assessment of substance use disorders, assessment of appropriateness for residential treatment and implementation/oversight of a residential substance use program. The Substance Use Counselor will also work with designated Navajo County Reentry Staff to assist in coordination of aftercare services in the community.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Reviews intake screening of patients and assesses potential readiness and appropriateness for referral to the residential substance use disorder (SUD) program. Works with county staff to determine placement into the SUD program.
2. Reviews referrals received from healthcare providers, medical staff, programs staff and security staff to determine severity of need.
3. Completes screening tools for particular substance use disorders as needed.
4. Conducts assessment with referred patients to gauge the severity of an individual's substance use and provides a comprehensive overview of an individual's addiction-related issues.
5. Provides group therapy services focused on treatment and management of substance use disorders.
6. Coordinates the SUD Program within the Navajo County Detention Center. Ensures all tasks associated with continuity and induction MOUD services are effectively scheduled and completed:
o Screening
o Consent for participation
o Medical clearance
o Lab work and drug screening
o Inmate-Patient readiness assessment
o Group therapy
o Individual therapy, as needed
o Personal or self-help study
o Coordination of community referrals for coordination of care in concert with designated Navajo County Reentry Staff
7. Coordinates care with medical, psychiatric, and mental health providers to ensure treatment of comorbid conditions.

9. Coordinates care with community providers and community supervision agencies, including the exchange of treatment records, communication of treatment needs and linkage of individuals with available services and support options upon release in concert with designated Navajo County Reentry Staff
10. Obtains patient signatures on any refusals for SUD services.
11. Communicates with individuals via request, triages the requests and schedules tasks within the electronic health record.
