The Crisis Interventionist Specialist-QMHP plays a vital role on a team comprised of a Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts and a Mental Health Peer Specialist. Work Hours: 11am-7pm (2nd Shift) ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The essential functions listed here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the job. Provide crisis intervention services in a variety of modalities, including telephonic, telehealth, and face to face intervention. Ensure follow up is provided within 1 hour of the emergent crisis Assists inpatient facilities, including emergency departments, behavioral health hospitals, state hospitals, residential treatment facilities and the criminal justice system, in continuity of care arrangements for consumer referred to Metrocare Hotline staff screen/assess the crisis, provide an evidence-based intervention, and stabilize the crisis.
