The Assignment Ready Counselor (ARC) will provide coverage in short-term, surge and on demand situations resulting from the Military needs such as a post-deployment event or to cover an existing assignment for counselors who are absent. The Summer ARC counselor position covers assignments during the May 15th through September 15th time period, coinciding with the school summer break. With minimal guidance and oversight, provides the full breadth of Adult or Child and Youth Behavioral (CYB) counseling services to military service members and their families at military installations. These services may include non- medical counseling, training/health and wellness presentations, consultation with parents, personnel at child daycare centers and schools, and consultation to installation command regarding behavioral health issues affecting military personnel and their family members. ARC CYB counselors may be assigned to DoDEA schools and community schools and will need to have experience working in a school setting to qualify for ARC role in backing up a school position. CYB counselors may also be assigned to youth programs, summer camps, and on demand assignments. ARC adult counselors may be assigned to support MFLC services in a variety of military community and readiness centers, as well as on-demand and surge assignments. The counselors work closely with the installation and military branch Points of Contact (POC) to assure that the program is provided within scope and meets the needs of the installation.
* Provides non-medical, short term, solution focused, counseling directly to adults, children, and youth of service members. Services include assessment, brief counseling and consultation, action planning, referral to resources (assuring linkage as appropriate), and follow-up as indicated.
* CYB counselors will also have a focus on supporting the staff and personnel of CDCs, DoDEA and community schools, youth programs and summer camps as well as providing parent training and guidance.
* Provides training and health and wellness presentations, participate in health fairs and other base/installation activities.
* Enters counselor activity data daily through smart phone or web application assure that reporting is accurate from assigned installation while maintaining confidentiality and anonymity of service / family member.

Master's Degree from an accredited graduate program in a mental health related field, or social work.
With short notice, willing to accept assignments of undefined periods to include weekends.

Requires ability to quickly engage and communicate with military members, spouses or children as assigned, in order to accomplish job functions, and to respond quickly to emergent situations in any physical location on a military installation and/or within a school setting, which includes the need to traverse short and/or long distances within the base to both indoor and outdoor locations, to maneuver through rugged, outdoor or uneven locations (e.g., steep inclines, stairs, grass), and work in outdoor weather and other military base conditions. Due to the nature of working on military installations or related worksites, counselors may need to comply with various site-specific requirements to work at designated locations. For example, for some assignments, counselors will need to have certain current immunizations or vaccinations and provide record of receipt.
Ability to prove US Citizenship and must be fluent in English.
Advanced knowledge of brief therapy and solution-focused counseling methods.
Prior military service/military family member and/or strong familiarity with military culture desired.
For CYB positions must meet the Magellan MFLC CYB criteria for experience with children and youth and specialty in child and adolescent development/psychology.
Creates a presence on the installation in which the service and family members feel comfortable approaching the counselor and recognize the program to be confidential; for CYB counselors -- creates a presence in child and youth settings, is available to children, youth, and staff. When working with children, counselor must abide by line of site protocol.
Establishes and maintains working relationships with community resources and provides appropriate linkages.
Partners with POC to provide Adult and CYB services in a manner that addresses the needs of the installation/facility. Develops an excellent working relationship with the installation/facility POC.
Manages duty to warn and restricted reporting situations according to DoD protocol and staffs the cases with Regional Supervisor/Regional Director.
Communicates with Regional Supervisors and participate in regular individual and group supervision, sharing information regarding trends and issues on the installations and in facilities to which they are assigned for substitute or on call services.
Responds to critical incidents and special requests as directed by the POC and approved by the OSD program manager.

SUMMARY: We are seeking a Conflicts and Business Intake Compliance Counsel. The ideal candidate will act as counsel to the law firm in identifying and resolving actual and potential conflicts of interest arising out of new business intake and the hiring of lawyers and staff joining the firm, as well as assisting with the onboarding of clients, matters, lawyers and staff. Core responsibilities include counseling lawyers and staff in resolving actual and potential conflicts and providing legal and operational support for the Office of General Counsel in its implementation of risk management strategies relating to new business intake, legal hiring, compliance and other legal matters involving the firm. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Perform initial review of conflicts reports requested by firm attorneys, identify actual and potential conflicts of interest and coordinate resolution of conflicts among all involved parties.
Advise the firm and its attorneys regarding the appropriate form and terms of engagement letters for use in documenting new engagements and counseling and assisting attorneys on drafting such letters as needed.
Approve engagement letter drafts prior to distribution to clients and assist with drafting waivers for inclusion in engagement letters or separate letters as required.
Monitor compliance with new business intake instructions and requirements, such as the completion and execution of appropriate engagement letters and any necessary waivers, implementation of ethical screens where necessary and assessment of intake risk by the firm.
Act as a resource in assisting firm attorneys in understanding conflicts of interest and managing conflicts and new business intake in an appropriate manner, including participation in firm presentations and training programs as needed.
Review conflicts reports for incoming lateral lawyers, new lawyers and legal support staff and take necessary action to clear actual and potential conflicts of interest, including interfacing with candidates where necessary to obtain further information about their work.
OTHER DUTIES ASSIGNED:
Provide legal advice to the firm and its personnel regarding various professional responsibility and risk management matters as required by the Office of General Counsel.
Tasks may include development and updating of firm policies and forms for internal use; reviewing and providing legal advice regarding client Outside Counsel Guidelines and vendor contracts; maintaining and updating terms of engagement letters, waiver letters and related documents based on changes in the law and firm practice; assisting in development of strategies and methodologies for identifying, managing, and resolving conflicts of interest and assessing client and matter fit; and developing and/or conducting internal conflicts training for the firm's lawyers and staff.
EXTENT OF CONTACT:
This position requires a high degree of contact with:
the firm's General Counsel and Assistant General Counsels;
the firm's Director of Office Services, Business Intake Risk and Compliance Director, Business Intake Manager, Conflicts Specialists and other business intake staff;
firm partners, associates and staff, including executive management.
This position requires limited contact with individuals outside of the firm.

Position is full-time, requiring a 5-day work week and standard hours as outlined in the firm policy manual, with additional hours as required when necessary to meet deadlines.

Position Summary:
The SocialWorker is responsible for providing social work services to the residents and family members of Wesley Enhanced Living. Your work will help residents to feel heard, supported, and empowered while guiding families through important decisions with clarity and compassion!
What You'll Do:
Completes admission assessments.
Completes psychosocial assessments, MDS and other required documentation in accordance with department policy, and State and Federal regulations.
Educates residents/family/staff about the importance of advance directives, and facilitates completion, signing, filing and tracking of such documents.
Coordinates the Social Work function from admission through discharge to include room changes and transition planning when appropriate in collaboration with staff.
What We Are Looking For:
Minimum of 1 year of social work experience preferred in long term care/assisted living/assisted care
Knowledge of geriatric population and dementia
Bachelor's or Master's in Social Work (BSW/MSW); LSW or equivalent licensure preferred as required by State Board.
Strong communication, empathy, and advocacy skills
Ability to navigate sensitive conversations with compassion and respect

Job Description:
A SocialWorker (SW) is sought to work as a part of the Integrated Health Services team at the PHMC Health Network. The SocialWorker will report to the Health Network Social Services Manager and will be an integral part of the health care team, providing services to clients who come to the PHMC Health Network for care. The SW will meet with each new client seen by the providers in order to thoroughly screen and assess client's Social Determinants of Health and to connect clients to appropriate social service supports and resources*. The SW will provide essential information regarding community resources to clients, their family, and the PHMC Health Network team. They will also work closely with the PHMC Health Network team to coordinate client care and to improve client health outcomes. The SW will also assist clients and their families in connecting to and navigating health insurance coverage and other public benefits. Administrative duties include assessment & planning documentation, referral tracking, and service coordination and follow-up.
* Social services include but are not limited to mental health and/or substance use treatment; advance directives, transportation assistance; food resources; financial counseling; education and employment assistance; and legal aid referrals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assess client needs and barriers to accessing health, behavioral health, and social supports services.
Demonstrate up-to-date knowledge of community resources, especially those benefiting families and persons with low or lost income.
Facilitate communication and positive relationship building between clients and medical providers.
Assess client needs and provide referrals to appropriate social services agencies (e.g., transportation, housing, utility assistance programs, legal aid, employment assistance, etc.).
Incorporate strength-based assessment and brief problem-solving interventions, as appropriate, aimed at modifying negative thinking and promoting self-efficacy.
Assist clients in applying for and navigating health insurance coverage, public benefits, and exploration of entitlement programs such as social security and veteran benefits.
Interface with clients and managed care companies to facilitate Primary Care Provider (PCP) switches.
Actively participate as a member of the interdisciplinary health care team (IDT).
Collaborate with the Center of Excellence (COE) Community Based Care Management team and Peer Recovery Program to both to address psychosocial health issues and to coordinate care among providers and outside specialists.
Foster and maintain partnerships with other social service agencies.
Participate in training to become a Certified Application Counselor for the Health Insurance Marketplace and assist consumers with application and enrollment.
Participate in Social Services Team supervision, meetings, and information & skill sharing processes.
Document all services daily in the appropriate electronic health records system and other social service reporting formats.
Skills:
Thorough knowledge of community resources, especially those that support families and individuals with low incomes, and individuals experiencing homelessness.
Knowledge of Pennsylvania public benefits and DHS system (Medicaid, SNAP, TANF, etc.).
Knowledge of DSM 5 behavioral health conditions and working knowledge of chronic diseases.
Strong commitment to supporting and advocating for the homeless cities' homeless population.
Ability to exercise strong clinical judgment, independent analysis, and critical thinking skills.
Excellent time management skills and attention to details in order to attend to caseload expectations and ensure timely documentation.
Excellent ability to work and maintain flexibility in a fast-paced, medical environment.
Strong ability to prioritize work demands, including casework and administrative tasks.
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and oral/written communication skills.
Knowledge of and sensitivity to the impact of intergenerational poverty.
Developed multicultural competency and desire to collaboratively work with vulnerable clients from marginalized populations.
Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook and willingness to learn new technology such as electronic health record systems.
Ability to represent the agency and facilitate relationships with the community.
Experience:
Experience with crisis intervention and harm reduction
Experience working with those experiencing homelessness
Experience working with families and individuals with low or no income
Experience working as a member of an interdisciplinary team
