    We are seeking a Family Support Worker to join our team. Hourly Range: $17.31 - $19.71 The Family Support Worker role works in the family's home to teach them the specific skills they need to safely remain together, such as problem-solving skills, crisis management, parenting skills, communication, budgeting, home maintenance, life skills and more. This role will also be responsible for connecting families to community resources to help stabilize them and increase their support system. As a member of the Family Preservation team, you will work with other team members and report to our Family Preservation Services Manager. WHAT YOU WILL DO: * Through a team approach with two Case Managers and 1 Family Support Worker, will support a caseload of up to 30 families. * Provide direct case management services to children and families, including researching community resources for families, participating in case planning, and being a positive role model for families. * Meet with families in the home to address safety, well-being and the family/child's input and progress on case plan activities. * Coordinate care, referrals, and linkages for families to community resources, as well as assist with transportation, housing, substance use treatment/monitoring, educational needs, health care, and other needs or activities to support success. * Attend court hearings for all families that are court-involved as well as to testify in court proceedings as required. WHAT YOU WILL BRING: Our ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of relevant experience working with children and the following: * Bachelor's degree in social work or other human service field, preferred. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Identify risk, safety plan, make referrals, coordinate services, and plan for a healthy future by providing case management services and coordinating client needs with collateral agency services. Responds to calls, walk-ins, and crises. Provide emergency assistance, confer with law enforcement and prosecutors. Assist with court orders, making provisions to meet observed and stated needs within program guidelines. Conducts phone and in-person assessments. Networks with service agencies to inform and educate regarding the impact of violence in tribal communities, inform and educate community partners regarding the unique experience of Native Americans experiencing violence and the system responses to them, promote the TVS Program, brainstorm, and suggest options and alternatives for victims.
