Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Identify risk, safety plan, make referrals, coordinate services, and plan for a healthy future by providing case management services and coordinating client needs with collateral agency services. Responds to calls, walk-ins, and crises. Provide emergency assistance, confer with law enforcement and prosecutors. Assist with court orders, making provisions to meet observed and stated needs within program guidelines. Conducts phone and in-person assessments. Requirements: At a minimum, hold an associate degree in psychology, social work, criminal justice, or other social service-related field or a High School Diploma/GED and certification as an advocate. One year of similar or related experience advocating for individuals in need of assessments, referrals, support services, and case management. Preferred qualifications include two or more years providing direct services to victims while working in advocacy and a bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, criminal justice, or another social service-related field. Have a valid Kansas driver's license free of restrictions. Must be insurable by KTIK and hold current automobile insurance.
