Your Role

JOB SUMMARY:
The Family Systems Therapy (FST) program provides intensive home-based individual and family treatment addressing the multiple determinants of delinquent behavior in youth involved with Kenosha County Youth Justice Court. As the Family Systems Therapist, you will work with youth and families through multiple weekly contacts in the home, or other community settings. Our programming followed the Multisystemic Therapy approach, with the Therapist working to understand the function of the youth's maladaptive behavior, as well as the strengths within the family.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE FAMILY SYSTEMS THERAPIST:
Assess the therapeutic needs of clients and create, implement, and evaluate client treatment plans
Counsel clients and families in accordance with the treatment plan
Demonstrate knowledge and skill in addressing family system, mental health, parenting, and alcohol/drug issues through individual, family, and/or group counseling.
Organize and facilitate structured group, individual, and/or family activities.
Attend client court proceedings and make appropriate recommendations, as required.
Exercise judgement to intervene as an advocate for clients in emergency and crisis situations.
Safely transport clients as needed.
LOCATION: Kenosha, WI. Hybrid 50% WFH days per week. Local travel is required to meet with clients within the home and other community spaces throughout Kenosha County area, with mileage reimbursement.
SCHEDULE: Full-time 40 hours per week Monday-Friday. Availability for afternoon/evening sessions is required.
SALARY: $50,000 annually. Additional bonus pay is available based on performance.

REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a Mster's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or closely related
Experience working with adolescents, teens, and their families is strongly preferred.
Must have reliable transportation on a daily basis, a valid driver's license, and automobile insurance.
