Location: We are seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for the Birmingham Jefferson Convention Complex located in Birmingham, AL.
Job Overview:
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and executing warehouse operations and procedures in order to ensure departmental effectiveness and efficiency so that all product, supply and equipment needs are met throughout the venue.
Under the direction of the Warehouse Manager and/or Director of Operations, this individual will support Sodexo Live!'s goal to be #1 in Event Hospitality through advanced planning and preparation for games or events based on forecasted attendance, and by assigning tasks and delegating responsibilities to warehouse staff. A top priority will be to ensure that the highest levels of safety, organization and sanitation are maintained throughout all warehousing and storage areas.
Essential Responsibilities:
Coordinate all daily warehousing activities with Warehouse Manager and/or Purchasing Manager.
Utilize established storage systems, policies and procedures to ensure maximum use and efficiency of space within unit warehouse.
Assist with organization and maintenance of facilities and equipment.
Utilize inventory control systems, both manual and automated.
Assist with monthly inventories for all product and supplies; Report discrepancies immediately.
Ensure that proper procedures are implemented for requisitions, cataloging, inventory control, bulk storage and distribution of materials, equipment and supplies and assist in maintaining supply system.
Continuously monitor and ensure proper stock date rotation for all consumable product.
Distribute product, supplies and equipment to various departments, as needed.
Supervise warehouse and clerical data entry staff; Ensure accuracy in transmitting documentation to the corporate office.
Continually observe surroundings and monitor storage areas to ensure they are properly attended to; Immediately alert Security of any suspicious activity.
Maintain positive, on-going communication with Specialty Retail Manager, Hospitality Managers, Culinary Managers and other department heads.
Perform other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required from time to time
Qualifications/Skills:
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent.
1-2 years supervisory experience in a warehouse environment preferred.
Demonstrated ability to understand and effectively implement written and verbal instructions.
Strong team orientation and ability to work with a variety of departments to accomplish assigned tasks.
Ability to work well independently.
Ability to work well in a high stress, fast paced environment.
Ability to perform mathematical calculations, to include addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used by guests who typically visit the work location.
Technology aptitude for working with automated inventory system.
Other Requirements:
Able to work effectively and safely while subject to wet floors, temperature extremes, and excessive noise; must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and maneuver in tightly-quartered environments.
Hours may be extended or irregular to include nights, weekends, and holidays.

Job Overview:
The Concessions Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that guests receive an exceptional level of service by supervising concessions staff and supporting the concessions operations at all points of sale. They will assign tasks and delegate responsibilities to Concession Leads while fostering a positive and productive work environment. Their top priority will be to maintain the highest levels of cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety standards at all times.
This role will plan and prepare in advance of games or events, ensure inventory and supplies are properly stocked, and provide hands-on supervision during events. Handle product restocking before, during, and after events.
Act as a point of contact for resolving guest concerns or operational issues during events.
Qualification/Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent.
1-2 years of supervisory experience in a food service environment.
Ability to understand written and oral direction and to communicate same with others.
Ability to promote and participate in a team environment.
Other Requirements:
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds in weight (storage bins, shelves). Must be able to maneuver in an often tightly quartered environment.

* Maintain a safe and healthy environment for clients, customers and employees
* Comply with all applicable policies, rules and regulations, including but not limited to those relating to safety, health, wage and hour
Key Responsibilities
* Establish and maintain systems and procedures for the ordering, receiving, storing, preparing and serving of food related products, as well as menu planning and development
* Develops operational component forecasts and can explain variances. Responsible for components accounting functions.
* Ensures that requirements for appropriate sanitation and safety levels in respective areas are met
* Coordinates and supervises unit personnel regarding production, merchandising, quality and cost control, labor management and employee training
* Recruits, hires, develops and retains front line team.
* Conducts period inventory
* Maintains records to comply with ARAMARK, government and accrediting agency standards
* Interacts with Client Management and maintains effective client and customer relations at all levels with client organization
* May participate in sales process and negotiation of contracts
* Looks for opportunities to implement new products and services which support sales growth and client retention
Additional Responsibilities
* Manage the front of the house of the dining operation (Cafeteria/ Residential Dining Facility)
* Develop and implement food service plans aligned with the client's mission and vision, to include sustainable practices

Qualifications
* Requires at least 4 years of experience
* Requires at least 1-3 years of experience in a management role
* Requires previous experience in food service
* Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
* Strong communication skills
* Ability to develop and maintain effective client and customer rapport for mutually beneficial business relationships
* Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service using Aramark's standard model
* Ability to maintain an effective working relationship with other departments to a unified food service experience for all customers
* Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lb.
* Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
